Maybe we shouldn't all hate on Gox so much. Given they handle ~10x the volume of number two their down time is not that bad. And so far they haven't stolen or lost our money.

Been a while now. Cloudflare doesn't help, it just makes it impossible to check if it's down with sites like downorisitjustme because cloudflare makes it look like it's up.
thanks for the update but could you consider some status page for users to refer to in cases like this - like redirect them somewhere cos right now i had to search google then other post on here and only then i found the link to your official post.

I believe bitstamp is a uk company, but uk banking legislation is bad for bitcoin (hence mt.gox and btc-e not taking gbp any more), so they bank abroad
