Most of the activity happens on the slack channels.

In case you missed it, a bug in Monero prompted Poloniex and Bittrex to suspend withdrawals and deposits for all crypto note coins including Boolberry. Ironic since fluffy pony no longer considers Monero to be a cryptonote network, we all share the same common ancestor regardless of semantics.

Bittrex has unsuspended Boolberry withdrawals and deposits, and Poloniex will be next.

No deliverables in development since the last bi-weekly, primarily following the influential developments in the Bitcoin space this month. More developers have offered contributions to the source code.

The twitter account is live @boolberryteam with periodic updates that will also be sped up as more news becomes applicable.

great, they had told me about what concerned they had and I told them they didn't affect Boolberry and to re-enable it last tuesday. glad to see they did.

X is used in traditional exchanges for non-national currencies, such as XAU for gold. So you see things like XBT for Bitcoin:

Personally, I don't see any need to pander to this old-money crowd. Cryptocurrencies are truly global, no need to play second fiddle to the national currencies.

Why bother ?  If every coin used an x as 1st letter of ticker it would limit the number of options available....... it makes no sense at all.......I like being able to find things by alphabetical listing on exchange

Development

Clintar is working on binaries and build environment and has a partial solution to RAM usage. One thing I liked is the shortcut which runs the boolberry client with a seed node address by default.

Vishal is working on multiple development environments and this will make it easier for additional devs to contribute.

Wolf0 joined Zoidberg’s chat via invitation, good to see people that have been active in other crypto note projects taking an interest in the various efforts on this project. Wolf0 has made efficient mining software for a variety of algorithms.

Donations

One of the bitcoin debit cards finally arrived and donated funds were moved to is so that some services can be purchased.

Development Fund Multi-Sig address

We are doing a 3-of-4 address and there is one open key. The reason this isn’t complete is because I’ve been hoping one of the vocal critics in the community would take a key. This is largely symbolism and is becoming counterproductive at this point in time.

Bitcoin donations would be requested to be sent to this address. Payment requests will be initiated by key holders and require the approval of two other key holders. A critic would at the very least be able to see what is being paid for, provide transparency via their criticism, and have more accurate arguments about what is or isn't being developed. Should be productive for everyone.

I sent crypto_zoidberg a message about the concept weeks ago, with instructions on how to join the slot. Despite the market confidence this would create, we don’t really talk. The next time people donate 200 bitcoin to a developer’s public donation address, at least you’ll have confidence that a consortium of people prevent unilateral absconding and year long disappearances with the funds.

Social Media

HootSuite is one of those services and is being used to manage the twitter account @BoolberryTeam. It uses the graphics developed by crz.

Currently crypjunkie and I have shared access. The advantage of a service like HootSuite is that multiple people can help manage social media accounts and avoids the fiasco of one person having unilateral access to a social media account, and avoids the problem of a contributor changing the password and taking over a social media account.

We’ll work on getting regular content there. Any social media savants can request access too and I’ll evaluate whether an extra seat on the service is warranted because this has a monthly cost.
