also getting same error with new client 6.0

Are you running one of the precompiled wallets as per https://www.bitcoinplus.org/wallet.php. In which case - which one ?

I'm not an expert on wallet errors but it sounds like a corrupt database. I would backup your wallet and delete the database file and let the wallet sync up again from the start.

If using Windows, the database is found in the folder - "c:\users\"yourusername"\appdata\roaming\bitcoinplus".

Sounds like the .blk got corrupted possibly by closing the wallet down too quickly or some other system issue.I tested all last 3 clients and no problems so looks like OS issue.

worked like a dream sir i deleted entire txleveldb folder and downloaded the chain in around 12 hrs thanks for the quick response to my issue.

Good to see you got sorted.Always keep a latest wallet.dat backup and private keys for each address holding a balance.Your private key should never be shared with anyone.

i was staking earlier today but now when i open client i get

 MinGW runtime assertion

assertion failed!
 C:\Users\(ect.ect.ect)
File:../bitcoinplus-mammix2/src/kernel.cpp, Line 375

expression: pindex->pprev ll pindex->GetBlockHash()==(!fTestNet ?
hashGenesisBlock TestNet)

and three buttons
abort,retry,ignore

abort is obvious

retry brings up

Microsoft Visual C ++ runtime library

runtime error!

Bitcoinplus

Error loading blkindex.dat

Havent seen that happen before. All nodes are up and running fine with no offsets anywhere. If you actually remove the .blk file from your bitcoinplus folder it will sync but will have to download the whole blockchain again from the start but it will work.If you havent backed up wallet.dat and cant open client search %appdata% >roaming> bitcoinplus and open the folder and save a copy of wallet.dat

If you want to reload the blockchain just resync with the .blk file removed and it should get you cack up and running but as I said you will have to download the blockchain again.

Your block index seems to have some issue for whatever reason by the looks of it so try starting the wallet from the command line using the -rescan argument, this will scan every previous transaction in your wallet. bitcoinplus-qt-win-v2.6.0.0.exe -rescan .You can also reindex using using bitcoinplus-qt-win-v2.6.0.0.exe -reindex.

can I just open up my empty wallet running all time in my computer
(contributing to the network as a node or something like that)
and eventually get some coins without buying it in the first place?

Sorry , but with Zero balance you will get nothing.

XBC is a PoS 20% yearly rewards.

20% of Zero Balance means zero rewards.

XBC  Technical Analysis (HUGE POTENTIAL)

XBC  broke the Resistance Line !!!   Smiley

Don't sale ,  just hold, and get a good profit.   Grin

After the price broke the resistance line, is normal the price pull back and test the resistance line again, like it is a new support line, before the price keep going up.

Would you know how to make up charts for XBC on an MT4 platform plugged into the poloniex api without trading activated like for example demo mode where the charts could be displayed on the website?

You would have to have at least a small amount of XBC in your wallet in order for it to stake rewards but if you run an empty wallet fully synced you could set it up as a node in theory.

how to mine it, which algo? or it is PoS only??

EDIT:

found it, "X13. Block reward is currently Zero"

which means, new comer has no chance except buy it with currently high price.

Its Proof of stake providing the block rewards. The Proof of work is only there to supplement the securing of the network.BTW we also have updated to latest security checkpoints recently in order to counter reverse spend attacks.

It was @ .00017 at one stage. In fact thats around the price I sold all my bags so you could have bought it a lot cheaper last year.Bitcoin dumped down to 184 dollars and is now over 2.5k.Such is life.
