hi, 5-6th July we will pay.
Recently we we were too busy.
So, keep calm and don't worry.

Is possible to leave the managing of payments to yakamoto on next times (of course only if he want) for more promptly payouts?

I also think it would be a good idea, the campaign would run smoothly and Op will be able to spend more time on the ASIC's business

I could, but I'd have to do some other things (Not very time consuming, but I'll have to set up things) in order for this to effectively work. I is up to XBTec, however, if he wants me to do that. It is 100% optional, and I'm just a.... Contractor (?) for him, and he can do what he wants. I don't wanna pressure him or anything.

I think that it can be a very good thing for optimizing the promptness of future payouts, hope that also xbtec will like the idea.

sed has a good point, IMHO.  There should be a known payday so that everyone can stay on track.

Ok, so now, as I understand it, Yakamoto has received all the PMs by yesterday, sometime soon then he tabulates then and gives the result to the OP.  At that point, how long until paytime?  Last week we didn't get paid til Friday.  Is that the plan every week?  If so, I think it should be said.  Basically, to my mind, the times and deadlines should be set in advance so everyone knows what to expect.  Thanks Yakamoto for adding some organization to this endeavour!

You should know that paying the campaign people isn't one of OP's first concerns. You should see where else XBTec has posted and you will notice that they are pretty busy making asics.

So just chill out, payments will arrive.

Acidyo, I wish that you could use the part of your brain that deals with subtlety.  I make a calm, rational post which affects a professional transaction: "on which day should we expect payment?".  You seem to have interpreted this as question about if payment will arrive.  That's obviously not the point.

To run a professional business you need to let your associates/employers/customers/partners know what the plan is and then do your best to stick to it.  To be honest, the way XBTec runs this campaign is going to reflect on how people consider him about buying an asic.  Especially in the field of asics, timing and delivery  on-time is crucial for people to make a profit.  Consider the current court cases regarding this matter.  If XBTec can't delegate in some way to pay his bills in a regular, on-time way, that doesn't look good for him as a supplier.  It speaks to disorganization, etc.

So, please forgive my bold here:

1. I'm not asking about if we will get paid
2. I am not engendering panic
3. I am asking what the plan is for a weekly payday. !!!

A little disorganization at the beginning of a campaign is obviously forgivable.  I'm just asking the reasonable next step: please make a plan to pay us on day X after Yakamoto submits his work.

This is not asking anything unreasonable.  We are asked to submit our payment requests by a certain time on a certain day.  That XBTec should pay out at a certain time on a certain day is not outlandish.

I messaged my post count and was thinking about this new procedure.

Let's say someone made 30 posts this week. He messaged saying 28 of them were constructive. Will 28 be entered into the spreadsheet and posts will not be checked? What if only 20 of them were deemed constructive by Yakamoto/XBTec standards? Will the spreadsheet list 20 or 28? To complicate things a bit, what if Yakamoto counted 27 constructive posts? Will that 1 spam post be paid?

XBTec chose Yakamoto to check posts because XBTec trusts his judgement on constructive posts, but this new procedure depends partly on participant's own judgement. If Yakamoto have to check all ours posts anyway, and his judgement is the final word, why do we need to message him our own count?

Yakamoto now have to wait 24-48 hours for our messages to start the counting process, which would inevitably be slower than him reviewing all our posts at midnight server time on the period ending day. So, payout might actually be delayed more than before.

I do not have a problem messaging my post count, or my count being reviewed. I will follow whatever is required of me. It makes no difference to me because none of my posts are marginal and I do not mind waiting an extra 24 hours for payment. The new procedure just doesn't seem very productive...
I can see what some of your concerns are. I am checking the first few pages in the "last posts" for every person, to make sure there isn't consistent spam, but I give people benefit of the doubt if they intentionally remove 2-4 posts of theirs.

As for my standards v. Requested posts, I will continue to add another category, with what you said, being Approved posts beside Requested posts.

I'm still kind of learning as I do this, so I am always finding new things to implement or modify.

I thank you everyone who has participated in this, as this has been way more enjoyable than I thought it would be, and I really enjoy doing this.
