Bter has been paying that 10% interest for at least a year.
The business plan for that is that they sell your coins now, and when you want them back, they buy them for cheap, (because most alt coins have gone to near zero) and give them back to you.
Have you noticed that there are bots trading on Bter? Who do you think owns them?

Polo had a hack as well...... Google it...... they also have a bot. Place a buy order 1 sat above the top buy order, and see an order come up immediately above yours.

Not crashing, just not enough buy interest. This may change after DAPPs. Take a look at the Notices box on the right side of the Poloniex XCR page:

I've been thinking about this some more. If this is all some kind of snafu where Polo misinterpreted a temporary shutdown of withdrawals as a true coin freeze, then it's not enough for Polo to just say in their Notices box, "XCR unfrozen." May I suggest:
"XCR unfrozen, devs announce successful changeover to new 0.2.0 DPoS blockchain".
Yeah, or atleast it can say XCR temporarily frozen at Dev request.

Proof or not happen - where i wonder that? To be ontopic, i say that my delegate node is succesfully running more than 24 hours without glitches, blockchain is in sync and memory consumption looks like stabilized.
Please, do not vote for me! Where are you running the node from? I started having some issues as soon as I was bumped to Delegate. The blockchain was fine before then, or I thought it was fine since I didn't have a metric to calculate my uptime. I've been trying to fix it ever since the problems started occurring, it's doing great right now ^^

I was asking questions about this "issues/drawbacks" months and pages ago, but devs prefer first "issue" this issues and only then "put effort to fight through them", that is very very wrong approach imho.
Keep in mind that DPOS needed to be launched first (as far as issues with delegates go)... although you're probably speaking generally.
You never know... perhaps toned down posts like this last one will eventually lead to better communication with the Crypti team.
I'm starting to get the sense that forum setups don't help in situations like these... maybe IRC is better... I don't know anymore!
