Thanks for the support. We are working hard to try to get it out. We are trying to make the first release as solid as possible and as devoid of issues as we can so that once it releases we can move on full force to custom block chains. We will keep you all updated as always on our progress.

Then we will move on to the 3-6 month items. I hope this helps give you an idea of where we are at in regards to the items on the list.

I don't think much effort will be involved for it.

yes, you don't want to release a product that hasn't been thoroughly tested and proven reliable. With that said, let's have team members refrain from commenting on when they think something will be released. We had some confusion with the Windows wallet.. Which was then followed up by numerous messages from others asking about it..

Don't get me wrong, we would love to have it out tomorrow for sure.

I know in some prior press releases, that you guys outlined the release dates for a number of things. But then team members have said different dates on the forums. Try to refrain from commenting on releases unless you are quite certain that you can deliver.. As it just creates confusion and some frustration, not to mention numerous posts of people asking the same thing..

We have it in the 1-3 months section with it being one of the highest priority items. The original discussion of 15 September was prior to even starting our pre-sale. Once we launched we had to deal with issuing fixed for the syncing issues, etc. We are still holding to our no longer handing our release dates for this very reason, but rest assured it is our #1 priority and development is well on it's way. I would say less than a month would be a good prediction but again, subject to change based on issues that arise.

Windows wallet first, custom block chains after. Those are currently our top priorities.

In addition to cloud servers, there are dedicated microboards such as the Raspberry Pi ($35) and the ODROID-3 ($59) that could be used as Crypti nodes. The Raspberry is marginal with its relatively low memory and speed. However, the ODROID-U3 is far superior to the Raspberry, well worth the extra $24 and could easily be the foundation of a cheap Crypti node. Here's some links to get up to speed:

I encourage the devs put up an official Crypti microSD card image for the ODROID-U3.

The key advantage that PoS Crypti / NXT etc have over PoW Bitcoin / Doge etc is that Crypti only needs a single block calculation per block time to secure the blockchain instead of literally thousands of millions of billions for Bitcoin with its expensive and power hungry miner ASICS. Avoiding the ASIC arms race with cheap single board computers is why Crypti will ultimately win and Bitcoin will ultimately die. I have a lot of ideas about how Crypti can use the U3, this is not my last post on this subject.

Mal, I've added a hardware board to CryptiTalk to discuss config ideas and hardware. If you want to throw around some ideas we'd love to have a discourse on it over at our forums.
