@Devs

Are you using Slack as your team management platform? I was going to create a Crypti channel for community members to work on projects to help promote Crypti, but I saw that the domain was already taken, and it corresponds with the Crypti website :

Is 0.1.6 out? I saw posts eluding to its imminent release but I haven't seen an official post.

I running across a reocurring issue here running 1.05b on multiple cloud services with a unique wallet on each. Over the past twenty four hours I have noticed that my blockchain.db time stamp stops updating altogether. So, I stopped them all and deleted the blockchain.db and started app.js. It runs fine for a while on each one but at some point usually within an hour but up to two hours on random nodes. It never gets back up to date in the blockchain before halting growth and stops updating time stamps. I've also not generated one block in well over 24 hours. Has anyone else experienced this or have any other suggestions?

Guys, I was wondering if anyone is aware of SuperNet idea from jl777 ? Would it be a good idea to add crypti to it ?

Please check the below link for more details :

It looks kind of interesting, kind if like an advertising network for coins in a way. Not totally sure what I think about it yet though, also I think you need a QT wallet to be able to be part of it.

I know that once custom block chains and the first Crypti apps are released, the bottom price of Crypti would be 20K Satoshi.

Jeez, why are you guys panicking about the price? This thing happens every time each month towards the end of the month. Prices and volume drop across the board as people cash out to pay their expenses. Ask Litoshi, he's probably the most experienced trader here.

Personally, I'm not really doing any day trading at the moment, because I know that once custom block chains and the first Crypti apps are released, the bottom price of Crypti would be 20K Satoshi.

Bless you Shimal for pumping up the price as you dump your scam coins. You're the best!

Why don't you go to bother on the Ora thread? At least they are a clone of your dear Qora, not as Crypti.

Anyone feel up to the task of making a blockchain explorer using ABE?

https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abe

Could be pretty simple, take a look.

We are looking at some projects as the base, will update once we decided whether we will use them or develop from scratch.

Any update on the Windows Wallet?

We are still working on compiling the Node modules for Windows.
While we have progress, it takes somewhat longer than expected.

An update with links to test Windows version will be posted once we have it running.

Okay no problem, is that why you've been holding out on 0.16?

EDIT : Just saw the above post, great work, that means one-click forging is on track Smiley

I would like to see 2FA for wallet and forge. I know we already have 2nd passphrase. But I like the convenience it affords me with other sites. And I think it's a feature that new investors would find they are accustomed to and presents the coin as well rounded and protected investment.

Crypto currency works with digital signatures. Anyone who has the secret key can spend the money. You can give the secret key (encrypted by your password) to a third party and they will ask you for 2FA before you can download encrypted blob from their server (i.e blockchain info wallet),  but if you have the secret key on your machine, there can't be any 2FA.

We might consider adding the 2FA to our hosted wallet, if there will be enough demand and if people will trust this solution.
Of course this will mean users using it will have to make sure they never logged in with their pass phrase anywhere else.

any news on 0.1.6? I was "soon" 3 days ago.

We decided to add an important feature allowing setting the forging password via UI and encrypt / decrypt it to config file on fly (thus removing the plain-text storage from the config file), to provide both convenience and an increased security for the forgers.

It will be posted once completed and passed tests by our QA, here and on our blog, as usual.
