A first go-to point. http://crypti.ws/

I'm currently thinking about several project ideas. But for these I need more API information and calls. Smiley

Great work bud. Could you open-source it to GitHub so that we can help contribute to it as well?

What do you want to open-source? The project I want to start or the current crypti.ws?

It really should be up to the Crypti Foundation to decide what is best for Crypti.  If the Foundation decides to keep the code closed source, then it will remain closed source.  IF the Foundation votes for open source, then it will be released in the manner and method that is best for XCR.

Until then, rabbiter will just have to find another coin code to copy for his "Lucky168" coin.
We are not talking about the crypti source. Smiley

So many FUDs here,i don't know why people always trust what FUDs say and sell their nodes at low price.

I don't particularly like the way they insinuate that investing in large amounts of a coin is now considered just an effort to drive up the price. I can't speak for all of us here but I'd like to think that if investing a little in a solid product is good, then investing a lot must be great. Maybe they're butthurt because they didn't get in early enough. I don't know. But then again, it's still not too late.

I think there should some plan for the third party check the source code,I think it is responsible for our investors. We like this project, but still need some official proof.
@Dev What do you think?
We don't want to copy and make clone so a professional 3rd party is a good choice, anyway. Smiley
Regards

We already contacted authoritative members of community to source code review and audit.
We discuss conditions, NDA and etc now.
Great any info from them will help this project a lot. Grin

On pretty much all of my nodes I am getting:

any news on 0.1.6? I was "soon" 3 days ago.

+1

Just in the process of re-syncing 8 of 12 nodes I am running after they stopped running properly. Which is a big pain in the ass! Smiley

We need a more stable and efficient client... Undecided

On the plus side I've forged some nice blocks today! Grin

I would like to see 2FA for wallet and forge. I know we already have 2nd passphrase. But I like the convenience it affords me with other sites. And I think it's a feature that new investors would find they are accustomed to and presents the coin as well rounded and protected investment.

Crypto currency works with digital signatures. Anyone who has the secret key can spend the money. You can give the secret key (encrypted by your password) to a third party and they will ask you for 2FA before you can download encrypted blob from their server (i.e blockchain info wallet),  but if you have the secret key on your machine, there can't be any 2FA.

We have discussed 2FA internally. Some felt that tying Google or another company into wallet access might be an issue for some who want less involvement for those players, but when we do the fully featured web wallet, it will more than likely contain some form of 2FA. Not making any promises, but it is a desire of mine as well.

Google authenticator  is open source and has nothing to do with google itself, as it's just implementation of  TOTP tokens from RFC6238 ( http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6238 )

The real problem is that you can't implement 2FA with decentralized crypto. You can do with online wallet where you keep encrypted copy of the wallet/secret key (i.e like blockchain info encrypted wallet on their server) but 2FA cannot be implemented where user has the control of wallet/secret key.

Could be pretty simple, take a look.

@Devs

I've setup a NodeBB forum and it seems to be working perfectly. Could you tell us what stability issues you guys were having? Did NodeBB experience instability under stress tests?

Without hiring another developer to help customize and setup the forum the way we wanted it, we were having issues getting it to function the way we wanted it to. If you use the default template and simply install the base install, it functions ok. That being said, we couldn't afford to take Boris off of finishing Crypti and we didn't have the finds to hire a secondary developer to help us setup the forum the way we wanted it to function, therefore, as I said when I announced the decision to go with SMF, we weren't ruling it out all together, but at the time it just wasn't working for what we wanted to do.

We tested it internally for a couple weeks and the default just wasn't appealing to members of our team and to do the adjustments we wanted was going to take development work and customizations we couldn't do at the time. I still haven't written off the idea of using it, you know I am a fan, but we will have to re-visit it at a later time.

If you want to develop a NodeBB forum, customize it to not use the masonry style homepage, and get it to a stable point with all of the features necessary for our community (for instance if you can get the homepage modules to work, that was one thing that was bricking for me with the theme we were trying to use), then we would be more than willing to talk about having it be the official forums for the devs to use to answer questions, etc. As long as I can get admin privaleges to assign moderators and control the private forums for members, then I would be happy to discuss it.

Were you using Majestic v3/v4 as the theme?

Okay, I can set up, edit and customize the NodeBB forum, as long as you're still open to the idea of using it Smiley. I'm using the default theme currently and there aren't any problems here at the moment, I'm going to test it out soon though with a couple of separate themes to see the results.

No, we were trying to create a non-masonry traditional style homepage with available updates and a little bit of news functionality so that people would only have to check in there and could see straight away kind of what was going on.

Guys, what 3rd party feature / service do you want?! (Beside blockchain explorer, mobile wallet)

Someone will just have to build a Crypti App that provides 2FA. I prefer text messages with the code contained.

how is this possible with the proof of time foriging weight resetting after forged block? 9306737411124266105C just forged 2 blocks one minute apart, i didnt think getting two consecutive blocks was possible.

Anyway it's can be possible, but you can be in (locall) fork and this block will be removed after fork processing.

Hi Crypti you promised you were contacting a third party to check the code?

They are. Be patient  Wink

Rabbiter just wants to launch his "Krypti Coin" as soon as possible.  Our refusal to release the source is causing him to delay his clone.
