Hello community, as I see you anticipated this blog post already. I'm very grateful that we could establish such an information channel for you guys. It always appear around this time, as I'm busy at day with other Crypti stuff.
This weeks topic is our mobile client. With Crypti we are heavily focusing on the mobile market segment, as we see big growth in this area. Also we see that the competition makes little efforts here. Back to the blog post, it displays design mockups of our mobile client, which will be available for iOS and Android devices. This is a huge announcement for us, as we are big fans of the mobile market. Content wise there is not so much to tell you guys, therefore I added a small foresight of the near future of Crypti.
Also we want to announce a public beta test of the new user interface for next week. It will not start before next Thursday, so be relaxed. We will offer several bounties for bugs and design/UX mistakes. We hope that you will test it outright.

The resources > Free XCR sends users to 502 Bad Gateway. The resources > Whitepaper link needs to be updated, some features stated in the whitepaper will no longer be in Crypti (PoT for example).
We are almost done with the new whitepaper / technical documentation for the current build of our system and network. The old link should have already been taken down so I will re-visit it with the team. Thanks!

Hey guys, recently we saw more traffic on our website and that's why we added new information to the front page. As Crypti is heavily focused on decentralized applications, smart contracts and custom blockchains we updated specifically these areas. We hope you like the few new parts of information.

The vote for joining SuperNet failed by a large margin. Besides, we have a better partnership in the works, to be announced soon.

Does Crypti have a Slack group? I really like Slack, it's a great way to interact with the devs and other investors in real time.
We use Slack to communicate internally. We dont have a public channel right now. It has been discussed. Once we made a special channel to talk to 5000bitcoins, who tried to get us to partner with SuperNET......... for like 4 hours!!
One problem with communicating on SLack public channel, is that not all of the community will see the conversation. As you know, we are very responsive to the community, and value their input....... well, not counting starik69 anyway. Mal has good points, and they deserve to be read by the community. A Slack channel would see like a private or exclusive group.
BUT........ If enough of the community wants this..... it can be done.
As Will said, we are using it internally. I would like to keep the discussions open in the forum. We have our own one (https://forum.crypti.me), which should be used for any question you have. This way everything will be public and everyone can read it.
If someone wants to chat with me he can always add me in Skype or make an appointment in CryptiChat. Smiley

Luckily for me I'm sheltered. So war and violence is only something that exists in the movies.
I love The Road Warrior, its a classic. It has a pre anti-semitic Mel (or maybe not who knows?).
Throw in the fact they let the original director George Miller do the "remake" decades later which is unheard of these days
and put a very talented Tom Hardy in it I'm watching it.
But I'm waiting for Blu-ray because I can't stand people in theaters.

...Network Monitor... shows 134 computers running 0.2.0a and 6 running 0.2.0 for 140 connected peers. Of these, 2 are Apple, 66 are Windows and 71 are Ubuntu.

Mal, I would suspect that some of the Delegates are running on Windows Server hosts. You are right, when we update to a Linux only Delegate, the Windows Server clients will either have to run old delegate versions, or go dark. They will then be lacking some functions.
Or they can go Ubuntu on a 0.3.0 upgrade. Do you think they are all running Windows on server farms, or could some of them be on a home ISP? THAT would be interesting...
Say, an aside: I saw Mad Max this weekend, because I am an original fan of that movie franchise from the early 1980s. Run, do not walk, to go see this film. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is a 37. An absolute masterpiece of film making, and I am not alone in that assessment. An astounding 98% of the critic reviews have been enthusiastically positive:

I will be seeing MM:FR again, just so I can try to focus more on what I only glimpsed in the background the first time around. The background detail in every frame is incredible, and you only get a glimpse before it's on to the next scene. This thing has an average of 22 scene / viewpoint cuts per minute (somebody counted); the action is practically nonstop for two solid hours. You come out feeling like your adrenal glands have been squeezed dry. I actually had tears in my eyes when the credits started to roll.
Mal, Windows really wont run a delegate with any reliability. If the time on the Windows machine is off by 2 seconds from the NIST time, the delegate cannot forge. Windows 7 and 8 only reset the clock every week to 30 days. There is also the lag time with using a home DSL. I know, I tried it.... my uptime percent dropped to 25% range.
There are a few delegates that have dropped below 90%. I suspect they are the Windows Server hosted delegates. Servers would be closer to the internet backbone to decrease the lag time, and would have a daily time reset. Works for now, but not like Linux Servers.
As for Mad Max........ wont see it. I have seen enough of war up close and personal.

Fair enough, I was just curious. Please don't join SuperNet. Look at what good that did for Syscoin... Absolutely nothing, and now SuperNet has control over 10% of Syscoin. SuperNet is only good for coins which need the additional exposure or coins which aren't good enough to stand on their own, while Crypti doesn't have the same level of exposure of, say Syscoin, I don't think exposure will be an issue once you guys begin focusing on promotion. And I definitely think Crypti can stand on its own.
