What's with the price of btc?! will the effect XC ?
It doesn't seem to affecting it.
XC's been stable for the entire period of BTC's downtrend, and now XC's going up.
sorry but i dont know where you see that XC is going up. Two days ago it was 175-180 , now its 151-155 and volume is awful.. so sorry but i dont see rising...
its not spectacular but not awfull either. what we need now is some regular news as i stated yesterday. synechist have you heard from that chinese guy who wanted to contact btc38,i don't wanna sound like a broken record but if volume is a concern this could be a fix. Also have you guys heard from that atlas guy ? is their some contact.
just hit the infos out like you get them, even if its just in the works. everythig but the tech should get that approach.
The "release day mentality" doesn't work for crypto currencys like it does for movies or books or whatever. its fine to celebrate big milestones but don't save any news. also a preview of the ui more sooner than later would keep people excited, even if it turns out to look different come rev3. who cares.
what i wanna say is rev2.5 shouldn't be orchestrated like the last one. it should just happen like hopefully a lot of smaller things on the way to it and after.
that video interview idea is great btw. hope that comes along.

Yes, I agree about having regular news - and there will be regular news, hopefully including lots from the community too.
Rev 2.5 will be a little bit of both. For example, the first test-app featuring the new UI needs to be pretty damn awesome, and we'll work hard on it before releasing it. But once it's released, there'll be lots of testing, feedback, and further revisions.
