I missed you guys so much. I had lots of work to do these days.

I am so impressed by the XC team, delivered everything as the roadmap shows. I think I am a lucky dog to hold XC.

XC launches -> Rev. 1.0 End-to-end encryption -> Trusted mixer -> Rev. 1.5 Early multipath -> XC TOR Stick test release -> Rev 2.0 -> Full multipath -> Trustless mixing -> XC TOR Stick + XChat release -> XC for Tails -> Mixer nodes for private transactions -> Final Rev2 release -> & MORE are coming.  Wink

* Bug fix for fee payment -needs validation/testing-
* Decreased Transaction Processing time to 30seconds
* Decreased Transaction timeout to 15 seconds

Update your XMIXER

http://downloads.xc-official.com/release/windows/XCurrency-XMIXER-Installer_2.49_RC7.exe

constant updates and releases on such an important revision, thanx to dan for stabilising the rev, and community members for testing such a crucial piece of software!

Yes testing is critical... Especially when dealing with cutting edge decentralized ad-hoc mesh protocols...

speaking of testing.. can anybody take a guess at the sender here?

There's no way in the world you can tell because it really could be from any one of of the inputs.   Even if they guessed... there really is no hard "proof" that it's really true with undeniable plausibility.    Wink
Thanks to IE delayed but this is a heavy zoom in on that transaction with just 1 level of in/out selected (excl. the other TX's in those blocks) on my poc/alpha site: Coins flying everywhere

btw: im pretty sure atm i can comment out my code to identify wallets after rc7

nice picture. how did you create it?
A study project of mine, a interactive visual blockchain. Beta testing open within two weeks from now, Of course XC exclusive although im thinking of combining BTC next to it to get more people to notice XC.
But with all the anon testing going on in the last week i have a lot of performance tuning to do, those transactions are getting pretty complex atm.
And of course a big f.ck you to Internet Explorer for this delay by breaking all standards at will

Impressive stuff! looking forward to this.

Lucky man.
What ever I do, where ever I try it ( variuos PC's , setups , IP's, ISP's ) - never get more then 8 connections.
Like some kind of perdition....

Did you try adding the line of code in your shortcut?
If your are asking about  -maxconnections=64  - YES

Ok, Warning Noobish mixer questions.

My mixer is running on my old wallet.dat which have several address in them already.

Do I have to create a new wallet and have one address for the mixer for best results?

Thx

No, actually it works better with different address's as the mixer will automatically select the inputs from the various address's.

Hello Community! I was out for dinner with a friend from italy in visit here where I live he is a telecomunication engineer and never heard about bitcoin I talked him trough the innovation of the blockchain technology and then about XC and what it will bring in term of innovation in terms of web 3.0 prospective.

He was really captivated by it and I felt so proud to be kind of able to explain of what XC is and what it will bring in the future of technology. I have grown a lot since I ve joined this community and learned a bit more about the Crypto world thanks to XC and I would like to thank you all for this.

downloaded the RC7 version of the wallet and got already 11 connections in less then 5 minutes. Looks promising Smiley

I'll leave it open and check it tomorrow morning good night now.

Next step is to for Dan and Arlyn (together) is get some Youtube exposure, eg. interviews with World Crypto Network etc.  People will want to know the people behind the new technology.  It will reinforce our achievements and build trust.  It will help the market understand exactly where we are at and invite them to join us on this journey.  Our YouTube presence is not that great, for what we have achieved it should be massive.   We should aim for an interview within the next day or so if possible.

Great idea there. Thanks. I've actually put out a call for interviews, but only in print, so I'll definitely add video too.

+1

Thanks, its a case of "now you have heard about us, this is what we have achieved, this is where we are going and this is why you should trust us".  A video interview is the best way to communicate this.   I originally put that we should do this over the next day or so, I guess there is no hurry for this, but I do see this as our next phase of engaging the community.  We should aim for something prior to the next release, it will make us less vulnerable to misinformation.

I second the video exposure -- great idea!

the price actually did exactly what i thought it would do the last couple days. some short termers jumped in but left again cause the overall volume wasn't enough for them. but we still base higher cause alot newcomers directly disovered the longterm potential.

some also expected to much from the bitcoin magazine article for the short term. it isn't called bitcoin mag for no reason so the general reading crowd there is not jumping instantly on every alt that gets a mention. But i bet a shit load of eyes are on XC right now waiting for the right moment or still investigating more.

it could be a mistake to think in waves right now and only work on the next big release. what we need right now is a constant stream of positive developments from whatever angle concerning XC. thats why i liked the Dungor post or also the one regarding coinpayments tweeted.
All accomplishments small or big should be celebrated the coming days and weeks up to rev2.5. that way we create an atmosphere that invites for contribution rather than that "just waiting for synechist to hit us with his  next big PR stunt to make us all rich" attitude. also that way the community and by so the volume will encrease. If i discover something new i'm much more likely to keep interest and dig deeper if something happens daily. thats why i'm so happy about the RCs coming in by the minute. thats what brings people in now.

the rev2 release day was a milestone and executed perfectly. but i don't wanne see a calm before the next storm right now. rather a lot of wind before the next super duper mother of all hurricanes storm that rev3 release will bring. Wink

That beeing said we should all not stop hitting btcchina and btc38 up with some tweets. a new exchange adding xc would be a great signal now and the chinese are unpredictable . they can bring crasy volume.

Man, so many quality posts at this time of night.

Great perspective hoertest.

I'm all for community-powered stuff. Let's all keep on integrating XC into our lives and telling the stories about this.

And yeah, let's keep directing messages at those Chinese exchanges.

When the time will come for translations, I'll be happy to help for the french part Smiley

Thank you carafleur! Fantastic. I'll definitely get in touch when we need translation.

If you find issues on the site, you're welcome to post them here, but if you PM me and/or Thrash, that'll do just as well.
