Is it true? That's a black mirror episode btw.

Nice post, you put alot of effort into it even though your not a native English speaker. I'm not sure what you mean by the Kelvin reference though? Do you mean the state of solid to liquid at absolute zero? I can't remember if thats helium's point or not.

Some days ago I posted my thoughts to Monero speculation thread, but I suppose they much more fundamental, so I re-phrase them here and may be somewhere else. May be you guys help me in ideas where that thoughts should be posted else.

I think people are crazy if they don't respect anonymity or further fight against anonymity, like Japan's FSA that want to ban anonymous cryptocurrencies.

I assert that absence of anonymity is One Huge Vulnerability to the national security of any country. As we know most blockchains are transparent and there is just one tiny line that separates a person that stores his financial info on blockchain from total fiasco - the link between wallet address and person email, photo, address, etc.

As we can see, governments of many countries fight against anonymity (KYS etc.). Also they centralize all the personal info in one hand. But this is fatal fundamental error. As we can see, if personal data may leak it does leak in short finite time at 100% sure. Because info is a super-liquid substance like liquid helium at sub-critical temperature below ~2 kelvins.

Now transparent blockchains come to the scene. WTF???!!! Each gangster for the near future will know ALL the info about you!!! And, if you are rich enough, you will be robbed. Police is just bought or are share-holders or just have been leaked...

Look what Chinese HQ create on the days:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Credit_System

Is not it fucking heavens holly shit 1984?!

There is a niche for transparent blockchains, for sure. For example, they may control social things and relations in public domain.

BUT MOST OF REAL-WORLD BLOCKCHAINS MUST BE ANONYMOUS! See above...

I am very glad when I saw Ricardo Spagni introduction of Tari:
https://cryptorecorder.com/2018/05/25/monero-xmr-riccardo-spagni-to-introduce-tari-the-new-ethereum-killer/

Also I am very glad that Ricardo Spagni itself introduced his fading participation in Monero developing itself, MAKING DEVELOPING MORE DECENTRALIZED.

And the last drop that overflows my patience to be silent, is just found words of
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Abagnale
HE, BEING FBI CONSULTANT, SAID:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AHHo9OXiwE&feature=youtu.be&t=40m35s

Blockchain is the best way to secure the information. I think you will see all banks to come to the blockchain. Keeping records through blockchain, because it will become the best way to do so. You cant break the blockchain, you cant change anything on the blockchain. So that bring us to last thing. You cant change anything on blockchain. To some little things that have to be worked out, like example we have many witness programs. So if we know who the person is and we cant change who the person is, then that become the jeopardy to that witness. So the privacy issue comes into play about. Those are the things that has to be tweaked out.

SO PLEASE OPEN EYES YOUR NEIGHBORS: ABSENCE OF ANONYMITY IS HUGE VULNERABILITY TO ALL THE COUNTRIES, not anonymity!

Visa CFO becomes angry when asked about Bitcoin bubble -Fri Jun 01

Also, there are other cryptocurrencies like Monero, which are completely transparent as well. These cryptocurrencies are now being used after the increased scrutiny on Bitcoin. It remains to be seen whether the authorities are able to stop the usage of completely anonymous cryptocurrencies for criminal activities or not. Currently, it seems like the people who want to launder money are using the completely anonymous cryptocurrencies.

Dash too?? Goddamnit, why is that still alive.

Dash is just a pure marketing driven coin,
It has spend a shit load of money in convincing (or fooling) people it is decentralised, private, etc

at the end of the day dash did something for crypto adoption... but it did more to enrich its team  Cheesy

Notsofast bought more XMR at this levels. He has a great log on investdeefm check it if you haven't yet. I think buying XMR rarely a mistake, best anon coin.

He is also an OG investor in many crypto, but no one can prodict the price in the coming days... it all depends on bitcoin completely

I have seen many OGs make wrong calls in the months of jan when evertyhing was gonna go up but it turned out so wrong

What do everyone think about the deep anonymity of encrypted currency? Some countries do not seem to welcome it, and recent south Korean exchanges are likely to reject the issue of deep anonymity.

Quantify "Deep".

It's just a signature campaign bot.

Ahh, I have had those turned off for years. I even forget I have one. Smiley

They didn't expect so many splinter chains, and users won't upgrade their wallets in time. 12.0.1 will solve most user problems

Actually we are waiting now on 0.12.2.  That is why 0.12.1 was not oficially presented.

I agree. One of the very best anon coins to buy. Relative price stable and a secure investment.

Where is that?  The language on the milk carton is slavic, like Czech or Polish.
There were some news about ATM's in Prague (Czech Republic) , guess this is it

On average there are 6 new daily installed ATMs on the world.  And yes central europe is full of them. Lately most are not bitcoin only anymore.  Lots have Monero now.
