Honestly the Binance delisting might be a good thing.

We will know if they were solvent and if so, big win

We will also know if they weren't as they will have to buy it back on the market to fulfill withdrawals. Still a win

Finland’s National Bureau of Investigation reportedly traced Monero transactions in connection with the criminal trial of Julius Aleksanteri Kivimäki and the Vastaamo hack."

___
How was the National Bureau of Investigation able to track Monero transfers?

They are lying they didn't trace shit on the blockchain, they used bitcoin and exchange logs.

While nothing new for the hardcore users & enthusiasts around Monero, our team has written up a summary of the debate about the pending delisting from large exchanges such as Binance  Smiley

A delisting of Monero on Binance would confirm that it's not easy to deanonymize the transactions of XMR.
Because Binance is now in the hands of the higher tier, and to me it seems that they want to create a negative impact on Monero.

Monero is doing a great job in other words!  Cool

Is it not sufficient protection for anonymity to do transactions: BTC1>XMR>BTC2? Why exactly?
I must do BTC1>XMR>XMR2>BTC2 (ChatGPT calls it churning) ?

I am aware that i can put some delay after XMR deposit and then wait some time and split XMR to BTC transaction into two random Txs.

I am thinking to use https://bisq.network/ to exchange my BTC to XMR and back to new BTC wallet (accessed using Electrum app that connects using built-in Tor proxy). Maybe in such case the BTC1>XMR>BTC2 scenario is enough anonymous, noob friendly explanation would be appreciated. Thank you.

Doesn't matter what you do your btc will be tracked, if you want anonymity then just use Monero.

Created a new topic here: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63207026

Been a Bitcoiner for years, however recently the Monero community makes more sense to me, trying to sparks new thoughts in the community.
