And remember that CN coins anonymity doesn't rely on master nodes so it is better than darkcoin. i cant see a reason why monero cant also be in the millions once news of it are spread Though we still need a nice GUI and pools.

Around 740000. I multiply number of blocks which is almost 43000 with an avergae block payout which i put 17.2. Block reward started at 17.5 i think and is now at 16.89.

Noodle is doing some final tests on Windows and will begin testing on Linux. He expects hashrate should increase across all architectures. I can confirm a 5x increase on an i7 quad-core + Windows 7 64-bit.

Please be patient. These are actual changes to the program, not just a switch that gets flicked on. It needs testing.

This is one reason I recommend just be patient and solo mine if you are a small scale miner. You avoid all problems with pools, not just integrity and hacks, but also one more layer of bugs on top of the coin software itself.

It's a new type of coin. Not a clone of bitcoin. So, it needs developed. You could just be glad you have the chance to get in early  

Because, unlike almost every other altcoin out there, this isn't just a copy/paste clone that already has all the tools/infrastructure built up around it. People are going to actually have to build things from scratch. This is the very reason why this coin will stand out amongst a sea of crap--it's different.

Is it hard to use? Yes, it isn't exactly easy. But some genius programmer will probably decide to solve the problem and then we'll get a proper miner. We just need to give it time. This isn't a pump/dump, but rather something that will actually provide benefit to the users once it is more robust.

well you can try and read the OP and monero.cc guides to find out or you can always try better coins like Pandacoin, ComedyGoldcoin, Fuckcoin, Kumacoin, Failcoin and the rest if that suits you better.

Of course. No calculations required even. If you get no blocks, that is always below expectation. If you get some blocks, then you need to look at actual numbers to figure out luck. If you don't want to be patient, use a pool. I recommend that small scale miners just be patient though, and avoid possible issues with pool integrity and efficiency. If you expect to get 2 coins per day, that around $1. Whether you get that dollar or not (or get more) is unlikely to make or break you. Large scale miners can solo mine. It's the guys in the middle who really need pools.
