Do not forget that all Korean exchanges have international and local Korean exchange. Monero is listed on all international ones. https://www.bithumb.pro/en-us/spot/trade?q=XMR-USDT It says $1.7 million volume today. Of course none of us were able to trade on Koran Bithumb anyway.

It's a real shame that they show the world they don't care about privacy and try to blame the coin for the actions of its users. This is never a good idea to find a scapegoat and call the case closed.

Its all one specific country. One where freedom is not as taken for granted as it is for us.

The big scandal will get sorted but sure enough Monero is doing its job because they probably failing to trace all the involved parties, at least through that method.

It's a good arena.

I just find it hard to blame a whole coin because of a few bad actors... people willing to delist something over one bad apple are a good crowd to get rid of anyways IMO.

Oh, How naming goes was set long long time ago. Releases were named like this https://github.com/monero-project/meta/blob/master/NAMING.md First name an Element and second name a Celestial Object. Hydrogen Helix was the first one. Very long awaited rebase that happened at the end of 2015. Before, whole Monero block chain was loaded into RAM. Today would that be impossible for most users.

These were the names so far:

Hydrogen Helix
Wolfram Warptangent
Helium Hydra
Lithium Luna
Beryllium Bullet
Boron Butterfly
Carbon Chamaeleon

You may notice that second one was somehow unsynced. It happened because a huge Monero contributor that used nick Warptangent died few months before. He was sort of like Hal Finney of Monero. Adding code until few weeks before he died although he was seriously ill.

(For those that are interested...)

Speaking of names and such... The Carbon Chameleon Spesmonerujo notes are still a work in progress, but will probably not be out for at least another 2-3ish months or so. Work has been crazy on my end so far, and one of the two people who actually makes the physical notes is currently deployed in the army across the pond.
