SO?  all this shitty price action?  Maybe, just maybe, it might mean that I may have a chance still (some day somehow?) to buy back all of the 1,000 XMR that I actually once HELD, way back in the day when the damn things were fucking FIVE CENTS APIECE??

Y'all do me a solid, will ya?  Favor?  Just let me know WHEN is really the 'ahem' Right.Time 'ahem' to GET BACK IN!  lolz

When was Monero 25 cents?  It was in 2015. When Bitcoin was at bottom of last cycle. Where are we right now?   If you will wait a year there will be no more 25 cent Monero and you will ask same question where I buy $60 Monero.

Uf and we got a countdown until next protocol upgrade Smiley  https://community.xmr.to/xmr-countdown/

She believes that when buying crypto with fiat you need KYC, so Bitcoin cant be used anonymously (unless you mined it or have old stacks) and she believes that everyone have right to privately use cash and Monero.

So there are fans potentially to be in high places, then.  Cool.

Hard not to love Monero, though...

Yup..  I love it cos a big fluffy pony loves it.  He's def one of the coolest guys in the space.  It's sad he's slowly inching away from XMR tho.

Found this chart on reddit that suggest that the 2015 is already past. Jolly 2016 ahead.

Mmm...  Not to sure about that.  He's anticipating that the trend down is over.  That usually ends in losses.

When altseason comes you should get back in. How do you know alts are back? A 10x coin happens every week with large trading volumes. That is usually the sign that traders and investors are back - a "throw a dart with a blindfold" moment.

Hm. Well. Dunno guys.  WellWellWell.

WTF to think.

I guess I don't have much to chime in here really on this latest 'spec' talk but wanted to say, SOMETHING, just 'cuz I am still lurking here, still reading and FWIW I guess even "quiet" I am *still* one of the OG crew around this thread from 'way back in the day.

But, honest injun' time? (yah dats raycisss!)

I am still totally "OUT" of nearly ALL crypto hodling, after the collapse I endured just before the Crypto Winter hit.  It's still all gone.  I have bought back a little here and there and yeah I still actually USE crypto from time to time for buying things, including Monero (and btc and bch and, that's pretty much it.)

But... so?

What to say from this 'weird' perspective I have now?  All I can think of to say, is... CRYPTO. STILL. WORKS.

You can BUY shit on the internet with it.
You can SEND it to anyone, anywhere, for cheap and with no permission.
IT WORKS.
It never STOPPED working (except for BTC, kinda).

SO?  all this shitty price action?  Maybe, just maybe, it might mean that I may have a chance still (some day somehow?) to buy back all of the 1,000 XMR that I actually once HELD, way back in the day when the damn things were fucking FIVE CENTS APIECE??

Yah.  No.  Yah I know that's never gonna happen LOL

But maybe I will re-own again some day, at least a couple hundred coins, again?  Maybe.

A guy can dream, right?  LOL

Y'all do me a solid, will ya?  Favor?  Just let me know WHEN is really the 'ahem' Right.Time 'ahem' to GET BACK IN!  lolz

I'm quite sad. Its like everyone abandoned us

Monero won't shine until the governments completely go nuts

I guess this is then very bad news. No going nuts. Monero will just move same as all other top10 coins Sad

This looks very painful to watch. It is very clear where this is heading for.
How is pre-2017 time relevant? If you look at the chart since 2017 it doesn't look so pessimistic. I don't think 2015 and 2016 are relevant - at that time, the only users of Monero were dark web users and some small scale home miners.

By this logic ETH is going towards 0.005 as well ($60). Not a chance!

I might be trying to contort myself because I didn't catch a falling knife. But even looking from a distance I can't imagine XMR below 0.005 BTC.
You think it's realistically possible?

The next support is at somewhere around 0.006. If it gets breached, it is all empty till 0.003.

XMR jumped from 0.003 to 0.025 in 25 days in 2016.

0.006 is a critical number, If what I fear happens, you better prepare yourself. Hopefully none of you here are overinvested in XMR, right?

*I bought some back in the day from 0.017 and it isn't very pleasant for me to say these.

TA works. Whoever pumped this from 0.003 to 0.025 has the power to reverse the action in the same short time frame.

Here we are. It is half way happened.

The next support is at 0.003. Are we shitting our pants yet?

Based on your chart, I see Monero's price hitting 0.0042btc and then a sharp recovery back to 0.006btc. I don't think Monero's price action will differ much from the rest of the top 10 altcoins - they move in sync these past years.
Just never forget about one possible factor - mass delisting. It is not known where the price may go after a such incident. I think winter may be in the side trend...
Although a small correction is inevitable if to follow the graph.

Monero won't shine until the governments completely go nuts (start confiscating gold, bitcoin and anything they want) and the financial system completely fails. As long as the banking system functions (or half functions) and the governments give people enough space to breathe, monero (or coins like monero) will have difficulties to gain adoption. Monero needs both of these conditions. If only one of them happens, it only benefits bitcoin.

Think it like this, the governments don't like bitcoin because it gives people semi-anonymity but that's also giving the governments a chance to track the transactions and people since they also hold the FIAT gates.

All those companies, institutions, small-time businesses are all working on a layer formed by the governments, their biggest business partner. If these guys don't adopt monero, monero will still function but it will be a small network.

And bitcoin? It will go to the fucking moon.

Should you feel abandoned? I guess so, yes. Maybe for now. Who knows what'll the future bring...

Found this chart on reddit that suggest that the 2015 is already past. Jolly 2016 ahead.

I'm, not good at interpreting charts, can you explain this too me?

Wow, there is a lot going on here it seems like. I could be wrong but there are EMA and RSA in there? I am nowhere near expert enough to take a guess at these either.

@FEBO could you please share the link? I'm curious to know what this chart represents as well.

according to BOLLINGER bands, xmr should travel north against btc soon.
https://cryptowat.ch/markets/kraken/xmr/btc/2h

They are very tight, but that just means they are primed for a big move, not which direction as far as I know.

Hope you're right.

If I was a whale I would be looking at this market as a good P&D candidate.

I wish I had some extra scratch to throw in but my ammo's dried up.

And I never sell anyway, once bitten twice shy. Smiley
