What in the actual fuck?
The only altcoin with half a chance, and dump?

I wouldn't be surprised if TPTB are taking a loss driving FUD, speculators fear this coin.

Markets aren’t biological... what you and I think are catalyst don’t effect the market movements. Just buy things you believe in.

XMR USD pair printed a death cross this week.  This the second one since the bitcoin bear market hit in 2018  Sad

Trying to remain positive but it’s not looking good. BTC pair will likely hit 0.004s before any chance of reversal.  Below that we have 0.001s

Hard fork upgrades don’t seem to do much, good news is irrelevant. hallmarks of a nasty bear market.

Anyone see catalyst to trigger a reversal?

70k of coins brought on binance in last few hours?

Big volume spike.

Binance added monero margin trading liek a month ago. People love to get burned or make large profits. Oh those are teh peopel that then get haircuts.  I mean not those, but the ones that lend to those margin traders Tongue

Oh and price was sub $40 only a month after I predicetd will not go under $50. and it stayed under $50 fro months.  It is funny how we just adapt to the new reality.
Even if we once again see the price of Monero 40 dollars, I think that many will buy this coin as the most reliable and most anonymous. In Monero, the main principle of cryptocurrency is concluded - this is its anonymity!

any guesses where monero bottoms?

Long term seems Bitcoin is following 2014. Almost identical, since dates are similar.  Bitcoin went then approximately from 1200 to 200. So if next year will continue as last half year did then we might have $3500 Bitcoin at some point and on average not much higher at start of next year.   You can imagine where will Monero be.  So there is your bottom.    I dont predict this, but there is still possibility. I do hope and expect Bitcoin will recover faster then last time.

If you are asking in upcoming weeks, then it is ofcourse way higher.

OK, while writing it makes me think. I call that Monero will not go under $50.   Most of time will stay way over that but should not go under this number ever.

If that hunk Romero goes back to $50 I will probably jizz my pants. Jus sayin’.

Edit: I think I just now realized that I have a lot of complex emotional attachments to XMR.

Anyone fucking around with 'clams' and gets burned, wow big surprise there. Not.

Still doesn't excuse shit that goes down against people from GS etc, polo is still fucking POLO but... clams.  LOL.

They just used the Clams because it was the easiest to use to raid the userbase, the coin didn't matter.

Sorry, you gotta DYOR.

Heh, umm actually kinda sorta seems to me that asking for info from well-established long-time forum members on sites like this, about shit that's happened in crypto space... IS doin' his own research due diligence study background etc etc, ain't it?

Just sayin'... lol

P.S. I'd like to know too about this clams-raid whatever happened?  Fuckin' Polo is no love lost on me either over the time, fuck those fuckers but still what's it about exactly?  I hadn't heard anything on it either.

https://www.ccn.com/poloniex-users-threaten-to-sue-after-losing-13-5m-in-clam-flash-crash/

tl;dr Polo had an extremely illiquid shitcoin as part of their margin lending/trading system, price dropped 70% in an hour, then Polo socialized losses to all BTC lenders in the form of 17% haircut.

The haircut that was partly repayed and a month or two ago they give you chance to not pay fees or soemthing for your loss untill all loss is fully repayed.  So if you actively trade you can get all back fast. Here https://medium.com/circle-trader/lending-pool-loss-update-2-trading-fees-are-now-being-credited-to-impacted-lenders-more-actions-dad6840298ef

But to be clear this loss happened only to those that had tehir coins lending on Polo and earning profit doing so. I personaly had coins on Poloniex and had no loss doing that. Also no profit. Smiley

^  Polo stole some XMR?  Seriously?  Please enlighten us kind sir.  Been away from the alt game lately.

They released a statement saying you could remove funds before a specific date without KYC and then they kicked KYC in early and didn't allow withdrawals without doing kyc.. That makes them thiefs.
Not to mention the clams market they used to raid the insurance fund, w00ps I mentioned it.

So wait...  There's still some accounts with some XMR and other coins trapped at Polo?  How come this isn't a huge issue?  And how much coins in USD total are trapped in there?

And wtf is the Clams market raid?  Sorry.  I really haven't been updated with all the news.

Sorry, you gotta DYOR.
