He can run faster than he looks, you know...  He has like race horses' hooves inside those Air Jordans (or whatever sneakers) he usually wears.

It seems Poloniex gave up fighting against SEC regulations and after they geofencing 9 coins for USA customers in May, now totally close access for USA citizens and move elsewhere. It is sad since there are not that many exchanges offering Monero in USA. And sad that they leave USA market because of something Monero is totally compiled with, SEC regulations.

Fuck Polo, they went to the dark side.

Stole coins as well as shared user data without consent.

Everyone left there anyway, i'm sure the coins they stole were used to suppress at key times.

Hi Dotto, long time no see!

Even in the slim chance XMR is widely delisted, there are many unregulated exchanges which will capitalise upon this, offerXMR trading pairs, and the greater crypto community will acknowledge the Monero reigns supreme as a privacy coin, achieving what BTC has failed to do so. I predict this will result in an increase of demand for XMR.

No court will ever prohibit Monero. None. Who will prohibit Monero will be autocratic governments that will ignore law. But as soon as that government will be replaced with normal government that obey court rulings, Monero will be allowed again.  Right now we are in time where is no laws set and exchanges just do what they believe is right.

In general. Monero price in Bitcoin is same as was a month ago. Less then 30 days ago and people are scared what is going on. It goes up  to much, for sure need correction. s not this fear total proof we are past capitulation and already in despair phase?

Monero can be 0.01 btc  in a week time. Such even will be triggered by something totally unrelated to Monero development. Something about privacy or something I cant even think of. Maybe article: Queen of England was found hiding her wealth in bitcoin to not pay taxes.

Yes, everyone is still lurking. Watching and waiting.

The ICO cleansing has come to an end, and higher ups are beginning to offer regulatory guidelines.

While XMR may have fallen victim to delisting due to exchanges fearing FATF, it is likely they have 'jumped the gun', as true regulatory clarity will reveal XMR is compliant.

Once XMR begins to make moves upwards again, everyone here will return from their bear market sabbatical, paying attention when it's due.

very strong against the market today. you see any reason?

There is no particular trigger, I personally think it's just fundamentals.  All alts have taken a battering, but there are a few that do actually have a) respect and b) a use case.

I know I am not the only long term follower of crypto who thinks Monero is one of the very few coins out there which has these two attributes.

The use case is of course privacy, and being able to move money around easily without interference or being tracked is increasingly an issue.  It is part of why Libra was baulked at (and why Zuck wanted to launch it) because he would know the last piece of the jigsaw: where, how and on what we spend our money.

The ability to move funds safely and away from prying eyes - if you live in a state that traces your every move, or won't let you take your money out if you leave - is beyond price.  It could one day even be a matter of life and death - ask HK residents what they are concerned about...

So the use case exists. Being a freely and fairly issued coin with no premine, no 'cut' for masternodes or devs means trust in the coin is there, too.

Why now?  Well, it's probably simply too low.  Some people have decided this is too cheap not to accumulate again.   Monero has historically had a habit of moving up very suddenly and leaving people behind.

So, it's probably just 'about time'.  A planned regular protocol upgrade is due in next month, which can't hurt, either.

If you want privacy and pretty decent liquidity from an honest coin which as recently as last year was priced over $500, and now is nearly all mined?  Well maybe it's worth a punt.

This could have something to do with it... sadly.

Also I think XMR could be just correcting a little since it has been hit hard recently.

Nothing to do with that as that story is fake made up news, ah la MSM fantasy
