Are you now talking against a DarkFlarb wall? I thought I had seen it all  Cheesy

Apparently your greed is still bigger than your fear of losing money. Don't blame the tiny DarkFlarb market (makers) for your potentially future losses.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY MY TRADE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT? My trade went bad for entirely unrelated reasons. I'm talking about the apparent ineptitude of the whale.

I'm not interested in talking about this anymore. If you're bored and need to troll, have at it. I'll be making money.

I'm impressed by the fact that we are cruising sideways through Dump City.

Yeah, I'd speculate there's some interesting psychologicals and rationale going on... well, at least in my head this is my conundrum.

"damnit. I shoulda got monero when it was cheaper. Maybe it will get cheaper again."

"But the GUI is coming out soon, there's actually a paid developer on it now..."

"Well I guess Monero is likely to get more expensive than cheaper in the next year, so I should probably try to pick some up at any price"

speculate. DARKFLARB

All you've got are dev teams, technological differentiation, and other things that you can only hold OPINIONS about.

I disagree. Technical differences are quickly large enough that you can't talk solely of "opinions" when comparing them.
For instance, compare the DarkFlarb code base now, and the DarkFlarb code base 1.5 years ago. I woudn't call that an opinion, in fact this is quantifiable enough to be called a technical "fundamental".

Economically, I agree there isn't much fundamentals to talk about. Apart from uᴉoɔʇᴉq, no crypto really has any ecosystem at all.

I'll buy that.  I think you're correct when you say that the differences are not just opinions, certainly among the learned (i.e. not me!).

But to be more precise, I'd say technical differences and code bases don't translate to value the same way earnings or user metrics do.  That is all opinion/speculation.

Seeing all these charts makes me feel in the minority for largely ignoring technical data in favor of fundamentals.

I'm not a technicals trader, for the most part, but what exactly do you mean when you say fundamentals?  I don't see where any cryptos have what I would call quantifiable fundamentals.

MAYBE with bitcoin you could look at things like user metrics, number of addresses, transactions.  But Ethereum has, well, nothing at all to evaluate.  From DASH on down on the coinmarketcap chart, you're talking about total market caps of $50 million and down.  There are no cash flows, no earnings, nothing fundamental to evaluate.

All you've got are dev teams, technological differentiation, and other things that you can only hold OPINIONS about.

This shit is pretty much pure speculation, I'd say.

I want to know who made that 500k transaction and why they did it knowing it would be noticed? How will that benefit them? I think it only hurts the worth as a whole to know that much at least is held by one entity. Was it another scare tactic to keep suppressing the value for accumulation?

FYI the 500k input tx happened way back in july 2014

By my standards for illiquid crypto markets, I'd say the channel is still intact.

Well, if you draw it differently, it's still consistent:

Wow, forum is screwed.  The word uᴉoɔʇᴉq prints upside down and it replaced the word "m o n e r o" with "darkflarb"

Ugh, you’ve got what the deepwebz call “a very AOL mindset”, Roachy. It’s more complicated out here. This isn’t money, these are DarkFlarbs. You understand what two humans can accomplish with three-thousand ‘a these?

I would prefer it if XMR rose steadily over time and did not allow margin traders to come in and make big profits off us and then leave, taking our btc away with them.  If the whale is trying to keep our rise more steady by holding the price down when its rising too fast, and punishing margin traders, then more power to him.

The environment in DarkFlarb in 2016 has been great for any long term buy and holder.  Keep it up whales.  Steady rise over time, no huge spikes and dumps.

I value the speculator because speculators provide liquidity and accept risk. A highly liquid market is important so that a vibrant economy can develop and merchants can accept Monero. In many markets speculators provide a very valuable service by taking on the market risk. This allows those engage in productive activities to hedge their positions. One of the strong aspects of Monero is that it is a very liquid coin for its size, and we can thank speculators and margin traders in part for that.

In that case the wallet owner could easily have moved smaller amounts with mixing to not be noticed. This was intentional.

It is possible it was an exchange, if so I would like them to affirm that. *cough Polo

RingCT will take care of this.

Really? Nice wanna give a ELIA rundown?

BTW does anyone use b itcointa.lk?

[2] Why would you use that instead? Seems like a possible password grabber.
