Seems like someone already took the opportunity to short.

See -> http://monerodice.pd.to/polo.php

Between 04:10 & 04:25. You can observe at the chart that it was dumped into that little buy wall on 12.

That is very healthy for the upside.

Or possibly, the big green candles...  Roll Eyes

There may be a high degree of correlation between the two.

I also have a feeling that "soon" may be this week.  This is based on an estimation of mine from a bit over a month ago.  I have had no info about progress since then.  Let's see if my guess is lucky Smiley

"soon" what?

Buy support on Polo has quickly doubled from 40 to 80btc followed by some buying of the asks including an approximately 10k chunk a couple of hours ago.

I had been patiently bidding/buying the past week and with the remaining 20% of btc that was earmarked I bought from the asks as things started to move.  There has been some short bursts of buying lately followed by calming down.  This feels a bit different but then again how could I know.

I also have a feeling that "soon" may be this week.  This is based on an estimation of mine from a bit over a month ago.  I have had no info about progress since then.  Let's see if my guess is lucky Smiley

Thanks again for you indulgence Smiley

Money often costs too much.

Lucy, ack! "rsa ufos" my ass. ANC is scammy like that, always has been. Devs always vanishing after the fact. Again, and again.
BTW made good revenue on Cryptsy on some of those "ufo sightings". Would never touch Cryptsy nor ANC ever again. Zerotrust applies.
Ask TheKoziTwo for some more information.

Are they? 0.43 USD currently, there were a lot of opportunities to buy below.

For perspective, I think the low was 0.215 USD in January, since when XMRUSD is up ~100%, while XBTUSD is up ~165%.

Most people here still buy alts with BTC so I continue to feel that BTC pricing is more appropriate than any fiat currency for measure gains and losses.

If people were primarily using fiat to buy alt coins then my opinion would be different.

I think this depends on the kind of investor in Monero:

- If you bought BTC with fiat just so you could buy a stake in Monero, you should look at Monero's price in fiat.
- If you were speculating that Monero would rise in price relatively to Bitcoin, then indeed you are currently at a loss.

Yeah, that's how I feel... when I get extra funds in terms of fiat, I usually just put what I can into a little bit of bitcoin and then automatically shapeshift it to XMR to hold in my wallet.  So in that case, I always tend to view monero more in terms of fiat than anything and don't really feel that bad when I see the Bitcoin/XMR price go so low.  It's just all a matter of perspective to me.

this coin is not bad, but to big to move.
I suggest to liquidate and invest on ANC.
Why? Because it is not big yet. It is the opposite, small and very low profile.
Yet rare and with excellent developers.

Just be realistic.

How can you come here and say be realistic? Look at this quote from one of ANC your devs:

Also, and most importantly, GroundRod our Chief Developer is no more, in fact he may be actually dead... but because he is anonymous we cannot be sure although it is 4 months he disapeared. Sad

So we are looking for a skilled C++ coder to review the GroundRod code and finally release this awesome work!

Until and unless we find this new C++ coder we will not release. It would be a shame considering the amount of work GroundRod put in this new codebase (updated to bitcoin 10.99).

Pass the word around!

CS

Monero has many developers and does not rely on 1 person with C++ skills

That is the problem, to many devs, to many investors. To big market cap.
No move.

ANC is risky but potencial for grow is 100x bigger.
Besides you are tearing words from context. The dev is needed only to finish almost ready transition to new wallet.
You forgot to mention i2p devs actually launching first fiat/crypto i2p exchange and most importantly the devs working on rsa ufos system.

Thanks got it is not ready yet! That creates interesting investment opportunity.
But yes, buy Monero, Ethereum or other oversized and collapsing system - just do it. Please!

Too many devs?

Now that is a new way of looking at things.

So in essence less is more?

Kinda like the price of monero?

Less price = more monero
