I’m here to watch the dramatic conclusion to fluffy’s eventual 2023 exit scam...

Crypto’s greatest ever unfolding saga!

Too bad everyone has lost their Monero in boating accidents.  Undecided

Anyway, anybody have some long-ish term moonshot predictions? Let's say BTC hits $120K in May 2022. What price is XMR at?

I ran across this Satis report again, and it got me thinking:

Monero blockchain records all-time high transaction count; average transaction fee falls to 3-year low

There were times when ONE just BOUGHT everything and still didn't do anything wrong  Cheesy

I have a few coins when I look @them.... yeah then I truly can almost cry that I have convert BTC for that, on the other hand I did sell some in time and gained BTC as well BUT FML with that LUX Roll Eyes

Damn shitcoiners coming out of the woodworks!

Quote
The transaction fee also simultaneously decreased to a low unseen since December 2015. The average transaction fee came down to $0.025. The number of transactions started to skyrocket from 4,425 to 9,389 on April 25, 2019, which was an increase of 112%

That bolded is just fucking perfect.

One more pump in the old girl left? My bids await in the 30's and 40's.
How's the scaling thing coming along?

Please tell us sir, is there one? Would be easy to decide or i'm gonna buy or not, take your Palantír and let me know THX

I have no clue, I've cost averaging since .03, pretty much all I hold is XMR and BTC. I'm happy accumulating right here.

One of the community funded cryptographers just gave his monthly report and mentioned a couple scaling positive layer 1 things that could be coming soon I think.  What I do not know much about is Moneros Layer 2 progress... How far along is Tari.  How interoperable will that be with Bolt etc...

#Monero $XMRBTC - This might be a snapshot of a undervaluated asset (closer from supports than resistances).

Watching it, no rush, but this can reverse with a nice risk/reward around the corner.

#Monero $XMRUSD - Bullish pullback and reversal on the making like the crypto market so far. So question is: will it out perform $CRYPTO if the sector is bullish? This is why XMRBTC is important to look at.

Should I buy some more of this?  Smiley

Glad to see you here MicG

Personally (no secret really) I think this is one of the few blockchain projects outside Bitcoin that has lasting utility but also retains as much cypherpunk ideals as possible.  Decentralized, no idiotic "founders reward" etc.

That said, the question is will it continue to be recognized as valuable during the next bull run or will Bitcoins growth towards privacy mute it's rally?

If you saw my personal allocation you would see I believe firmly in the first scenario.

Also, IMHO now is about as good a time to buy as ever considering the dump it's currently taking. Wink  But DYOR.

THX, I still have my XMR from 5$ or something, sold a little but not to much.... But maybe time to expand that bag a bit (don't own a lot of XMR considered against some other ALT's..... dumb I was @that time)   Sad

4 more months that Monero emission inflation goes under Bitcoins.
The moment we been all waiting for.

Today I went to calculate since someone posted on reddit and  I knew that spreadsheat is not synced with reality. Monero side is only 11 days away but Bitcoins is months. So Monero emission inflation will go under Bitcoins in beginning of October. I could be wrong and in this half year someone will for sure correct me if I am wrong.

Do you think inflation will have such a big impact on XMR's price? I doubt it will affect it instantly, current market makers aren't that interested in this. Maybe if we would be shilling monero all over the place they would pay attention. It's very important in the long run though.

And according to this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qXi7zUSIh7F6UuSuhOryyFbHEy_LJuym3I3neAga_2s/edit?pli=1#gid=239466694 on next BTC halving, the Monero inflation rate will be higher again.

Emission put pressure on the price. It dont change the price by itself. It is just one factor that pressure it and then when something strange happens price explodes.  After next Bitcoins halving Bitcoin will catch Monero emission inflation again for short 40 days. After that Bitcoins emission will be higher then in Monero again.

I dont believe this should be main reason why someone would chose Monero over Bitcoin. But I do believe that days when people were complaining that there is to much emission inflation in Monero are long behind us, since we are like a year away to catch Gold.

Its not undervalued.  Monero will rapidly lose marketshare to other privacy coins.  I would dump any xmr you have left for btc.
