This is an interesting turn.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/lveiyk/riccardo_fluffypony_spagni_will_join_real_vision/

I find Pal to be fairly shrewd, although he is making a lot of enemies with maximalists.  I wondered if he would take a look at Monero...

I also wonder if he is basically pulling a McAfee and just milking money out of the alt markets by doing the buy, feature, dump, repeat cycle.

Hard to say... and I suppose Monero's strange action the last week or two could be related to this at least a little.

OK, OK, so you guys are saying that official Monero bird is also just a coincidence?   I say nature is telling us something. All we need to do is listen.

^  Wtf?  Seriously?  Was it a tourney or cash game?  And no way that jacket is really Monero jacket.  Lolol.  That’s gotta be just some random design that just looks like Romero.

Cash game at a casino, looks like the jacket was a coincidence.

Anyway, XMR doing XMR things again..  It’s up and green when everything else is down and red.  Grin

Lately I notice that Monero sort of pre-announce bull run. Bitcoin then follows with a day delay and then other alts follow.  Sadly soon after Monero usually start a correction Sad

Monero got new fan.

After the official Monero bird, he is gonna get the most popular mascot for Monero.

Played poker with him a few years back wonder if I mentioned it then.

Poloniex has XMR in 'maintenance mode' so no withdrawals or deposits.  Is there an issue generally or is it just them?

Wondered is it's affecting price.

Fuck them, they dumped my coins at a low during a fud storm and sent the cash to a different state for me to chase which ive been to lazy to do.

Huh

After they announced they would allow withdrawals without KYC if they were forced to apply kyc I sent coins there and then they did the opposite and I fought with them for a year but in the end they dumped mine and all the coins from people during a low (so they say) and converted them to USDT which they supposedly held onto for months and then closed our accounts and sent the usdt to a state treasury from the letter I received. Whether they sent everyone's to the same state I do not know. this is when goldmann Ballsacks (circle) acquired them.

Fcuk...
I didn't have a problem with them, but as circle bought them, i used Bittrex so  Roll Eyes
How much did you lose  Huh

Actually on Bitfinex it was 0.0356 - but no matter.

Right now half of either 'ATH' in BTC would be rather nice.

Ahm, nope. The BTC ATH would be currently at 0,0088235  Wink

But Bitcoin is at x2.5 of its ATH so. 0,0088235 x 2.5= 0.022  and we are even,so the battle can start from there.

Yeah, you are right, in USD terms this applies  Cheesy

ATH is 0.03382BTC.

Correct  Wink

I have always assumed the dollar ATH was in the bag.

Against BTC it's harder to say - I think the FUD pushed it lower than it would be and we still aren't fully recovered. Yet.

The BTC ATH would be what .035 ?  Anywhere near that would be awesome.  I might even sell a few of the handful I still have left after the boating accident.

is that about half way to the ath ?

That is half way to the old ATH of $450. It is way lees of the ATH, that will happen at end of this or the beginning of next year. Bitcoin reached old ATH 3 montsh ago. Etehreum reached old ATH 3 weeks ago. Even Decred reached old ATH yesterday. Monero, because of all the FUD that was happening in December and January, is so behind and the correction will happen and is already happening.
