So, on Polo XMR/USDT reached a high over the last 2 days of $100 and $96.50. And USDT has been holding pretty steady at $1.00 USD.  So, to me that long awaited $100 mark has been reached, at least momentarily.  I think we can agree that pushing that ceiling is a good thing and imho we are consolidating for a break through in that price.

Am I wrong on that?

Hmm, I am not sure. I only check coinmarketcap prices for USD ATH. I know they are wrong, but if they are all the time wrong, then it evens and I can talk of same wrong ATH.  It shows $95 yesterday and today to me.

You're right. Monero has these incredible price increases a couple times a year. We're over due and finally see some movement. I continue to hold.

Honestly not yet, but it seems quite reasonable to me (as veeeery best case scenario)...
Time will tell...  Grin

Well... I've been told about a ratio (called the Zuddas Value - ZV). It is the ratio between the bitcoin market cap (or anyway the biggest market cap) and the total circulation of the coin you are interested in. So for monero today it would be:

$64,587,020,141 (bitcoin market cap, or biggest market cap)
______________

14,953,626 XMR

          =

       4319$

So the maximum XMR price (best case scenario) could be this one. The logic is that if something has happened once, it could happen again. So if that market cap has been reached, also another coin can reach it.
Then you have the Zuddas Multiplicator (ZM), that is the ratio between the Zuddas Value and the coin value, and today for monero it is:

4319$ / 92.66$ = 46

That means that your investment could potentially rise 46 times.

Hope this helps!

interesting, but does it work in real life? is there any example?

My predicition is XMR above 200 Dollars at the end of the year. Anon coins are the only altcoins with real use cases imho.

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.

So the largest volume exchange on the world, Bithumb has started an offer to reward trading of Monero and informed all their customers with email. This will bring huge volume.
How long can Coinbase and Huobi watch without accepting XMR too? Weeks or a month maybe? Cheesy

How long until Coinbase/GDAX makes it easy to buy XMR from my USAA account?

How long until Grayscale or Pantera or Gemini make a Monero ETF?  GXMR anyone?   Cool

How long until Fidelity/Schwab make it easy to buy GXMR from my Etrade/OptionsXpress account?   Grin Grin Grin

These things may happen Soon®.

Why was monero withdrawals suspended on hitbtc?

"Dear traders, for a while XMR withdrawals might take longer to proceed.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."

I remember hearing about something today about monero in the news regarding something but can not recall what it was.
monero has potential and it will hows a good performance in the near future but i think there are many other coin which has launch yet and showing good performance and has potential. i had brought 7 monero when its price was almost $22 and i had sold it on $77. now i have invested in coins like tenx and neo an iota as well. i am seeing their future bright.

I don't like to predict prices and it doesn't make sense anymore to compare in BTC terms. But, the only way it won't go above .03, is if BTC is at $10,000.

I expect that in the next 6-10 weeks or so we will see that $300 mark, at least momentarily with a 25-35% pull back.

Don't take this as trading advice and for full disclosure... I am very long in monero. (I'm Always long in Monero!)

+1  Cool I'm 100% with you
The next weeks will be very interessting.

This pump is going to get the ball rolling in a big way. Pretty much everyone who is in crypto has known for some time that Monero has been very undervalued. Even now it's still grossly undervalued. It's just that ETH's big run up in the spring/early summer combined with the ICO craze had kept XMR out of the limelight.

There will be corrections and pullbacks along the way but Monero's long-term trend is up, up, and away.

Selling?  Idiots.

Always the profit takers but they are the ones who buy in on the next leg up, also those that have been long for an extended period of time like myself should have taken this opportunity to close.

So any clue how much in shortage got squeezed? It does make me warm and fuzzy after having the shorts dogpile  my longs for the last 6 months.

the best community , i cannot stop reading the pages and i cannot wait to catch up with everything about monero
