Looks like ever altcoin is green, and Monero is no exception. It's up 12% and seems to be correcting a bit since the last dump. It's currently at 36$, this is probably the last chance to buy in before the price is up again.

It's only grown as a 'thing'. Great team built this beauty with excellent code.

Everything is up on Polo.  I can't see a coin that isn't showing green.
The altcoin market goes in swings. Just about every altcoin just went down recently, so most everything is now going up.
That's just the cycle of money going into and out of Bitcoin. Just buy when everything is red and sell when everything is green.

Because of the value of bitcoin it show up a big dump that is why more altcoin increase its value and this is a great opportunity for us who have a lot of altcoin investment. And we are hoping that monero coin will have increase more in the following days.

This is a short lasting price fall for monero and soon it will be 0.025 btc as soon as btc price recovers in next 4 days

surely !!!

I rake bitcoins from people who do ignore my warnings.  Shocked
Anyone else can also join in the raking bitcoins from the ones who are circle jerking and thus not able to think independently.

Nice job raking those Bitcoins by selling Monero well below the peak. Judging by when your posts turned sour, you sold well below $30. Genius trader right here. You told people not to buy around $30, and the price nearly doubled from there. So not only are you a liar, but your analysis is trash.

If you read my posts more carefully I told that if you ignore my warnings and are going to pump Monero higher, I will dump on you guys.
I have not entered my buying zone, and it is significiantly lower... So many mistakes have been made with Monero PR during the past months that to correct them Monero should fall down on knees and stay there for a while to make a repentance, and then it might be ready to rise again.

Your are very wrong...

lot of ppl are making money on this "NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT"   those money are being cleansed atm and soon those profit will flow back into XMR...

so....
congrats  guys... XMR will  beat DASH MK soon... its all that matter rihg guys ?

is monero still in use as a bitcoin alternative? is is still a thing?
Well, sort of anyway.
You see Monero has a loyal fan base and a group of people who use it specifically because of it's privacy features. Unlike most altcoins it doesn't fight tooth and nail as a bitcoin "alternative" or "clone that has a feature or 2 changed," instead it has it's own little niche. Although there are still plenty of investors and speculators that us it like any other altcoin, so it's not totally on it's own.

I think that one bad move is nothing comparing to all good things fluffy did over past 3 years...
I have to agree with this as well.  FP stuck with Monero through the hardest times, and has been a consummate open source manager, AFAICT.  In that role his work has been a great boon.

But I do wish Smooth had remained more engaged as the voice of team consensus.  I just think his PR sense is better.  Right now it's more like everyone speaking for themselves (or more likely, not speaking at all), with FP's voice naturally dominating since he has been willing to hit the road and make appearances, and tweet like a boss.
Fluffy is our pugnacious Captain Kirk, smooth our reserved Mr. Spock. They complement one another. One issue in scaling is that so many passionate Moneristos prize our pseudonymity (or at least relative privacy) and so are shy about entering the public eye. Private advocacy is less scalable than is open. We are awaiting the arrival of our Andreas Antonopoulos, someone with a passion for education, a good technical understanding, and diplomatic skills.
