It happened only for a moment , but it shows that there is a lot of fud around XRP and it can pump very fast people how fiat in exchanges ready to invest.
I think that XRp has a bigger potential to pump in short term, because ETH is Dumped very hared by ICOs.

I think it will happen in next month and also last long for more than previous. You know Ripple has announced to implement xRapid which will push XRP to reach $1 at least and it will help XRP to replace with ETH.

yeah i heard they added more supply without telling anyone they just pour it well i dont expecting anything to a centralized coin, well they reached that sweet 2nd spot but didnt hold for too long, i feel ethereum have much more to offer than xrp.

both of these coins are very good in my opinion in the future, but I tend to choose Ethereum as a coin that has a bright future, why can it be like that? Ethereum has an erc20 platform which has been used to help the ico project and thanks to erc20. , the project developers are quite helped, I personally have some coin Ethereum until now and I keep it for the long term, because I know Ethereum will be a decent coin for the world community ,

I so believe in ETH as one of the most valuable coin. But all of a sudden , ripple takes the second position.. But I know for sure that ripple is not as strong as to maintain that position for a long time.

It was really surprising but it doesnt mean much.
I still believe with the power of Ethereum and it is not yet over.
Perhaps EOS could take over but it aint XRP for me.

Once the ICO blooms again or a great project comes using the ERC20 then it will be another hit for ETH.

Indeed, there is really a good chance of XRP to replace ETH for longtime. XRP will get huge hype in upcoming month because of its new xRapid feature which will make the difference.

It seems like ethereum is not moving because bitcoin is not moving too, but the ICO are relying under ethereum blockchain, meaning the one who has the most potential to grow more in the future is eth. And as we can see xrp exceeded eth cmc because of not moving well, but im pretty sure that it will arise again when btc starts to move.

This was also happened last year when ripple was strongly pump and it's no surprise on me as we know that earlier the price of ethereum was being dumps and with a small pumps of ripple it overtake the ethereum at second spot but it did not last longer. Indeed, ethereum is now again at second place.
