Ripple Says Master Plan Is to Give Everyone on Earth the Power to Send Payments in 3 to 5 Seconds

At the Unbound 2018 conference in London, Ripple’s global payments specialist Cassie Craddock said Ripple’s long-term strategy is centered on spreading the company’s proprietary technology through banks and payment platforms on a massive scale.

"I think solving for global transactions is still a real pain-point, and I think that in 10 years from now, if Ripple is to be as successful as we love it to be, that international payments should happen in 3 to 5 seconds anywhere around the globe."

It's got a problem who can verify how many coins have been supplied on the market ? some people considers it as a share of company .

Get Ready: Hodor's Incomplete XRP Newsletter

Blog Location:  https://xrpcommunity.blog/get-ready-hodors-incomplete-xrp-newsletter/

There's a LOT going on in crypto as we speak, and the two Congressional hearings were just a sample.

I analyze the testimony provided to Congress in both of those important hearings.

In addition, SBI Virtual Currencies has gone live now for all Japanese users, marking an important milestone.
I believe SBI VC will have an enormous impact on sustained volume levels for XRP.

Two recent conferences featured Ripple representatives, and Ripple has begun organizing for the next SWELL Conference!

Last but not least, I make the case that the XRP Community should make more than a token effort to visibly and materially support businesses that in turn support XRP.
While large Silicon Valley players address the high-profile use cases for XRP, the XRP Community can make significant inroads supporting retail businesses

I hope you enjoy this latest blog - please leave any feedback below!

Thanks & Sincerely,
-Hodor

Never be scared to buy ripple in any price. Don't be concerned about the price, you'll only fool yourselves. I bought at these prices: 0,20$, 0,7$, 0,76$, 0,95$, 1,37$, 2,3$. Ripple will moon in 2019, it's a great project, have some nice deals, getting even more popular, mainstream has their eyes on ripple. Even when i bought at 2,3$, I don't even feel that I regret, because I know the price will rise. So don't chase answers here and just feel the market

Ripple announced promoting David Schwartz to chief technology officer (CTO) -   Grin  Congratulations m8, you deserve it  Smiley

Ripple XRP Can Potentially Be Used By Banks On A Global Scale

During the interview, Schwartz was asked multiple questions on what he thinks of Ripple and where he sees it going in the future.

What is Schwartz’s your best moment and most difficult moment at Ripple?

Schwartz started working at Ripple in November of 2011 and he says it’s been a “crazy ride” whilst also adding that his best moment is right now, seeing Ripple boom. Considering the recognition that they are getting from the community now from where they started, “it’s just really mind-blowing”. -

As for the bad times that Ripple has endured, such as problems with Vince and some lawsuits over the years. However, he ends his answer on a good note saying that he’s “extremely excited” for the future.

Me- Its been awesome being part of the progress XRP(Ripple) has made and with such a great community.  Smiley
Also watching you guys deliver everything you have promised and alooot more has been fantastic.

Thank you David aka our friend Joelkatz  Smiley

What do you want to see at ten years of XRP?

Schwartz starts his answer by saying:
“It’s hard to predict timing, we’re at five years now and obviously five years ago there was basically nothing, so it’s hard to figure where we would get to in five years. Obviously, I would love to see inner Ledger which is Ripples protocol for atomic cross ledger payments being used with XRP as a sort of heart to it as a way that payments settle. I think in five years we could certainly see that happening.”  Smiley

What is the next technical challenge for XRP?

After saying that he is extremely proud of the team at XRP he goes onto talk about the next technical challenge for the company however, he does say that there aren’t many tasks left for XRP and decentralisation is mostly “an execution challenge”.
Schwartz goes on by saying:
“But we do have a lot of technical challenges in the ecosystem that we’re building around XRP… in that area we still do have a lot of challenges yet to complete.”  Smiley

Do you foresee XRP becoming liquid enough to be an intermediary currency between other coins the way that Bitcoin is now?

Schwartz’s starts his answer by explaining that Ripple set out to focus on one ting and to do it really well:
“We have focused on doing one things and doing it really well and that is settling payments that’s building out a payment network that’s compliant that financial institutions (banks) and corporations can use.”  Smiley

Me- i]Do you foresee XRP becoming liquid enough to be an intermediary currency between other coins fiat currencies the way that Bitcoin is now for crypto?
Yes i believe XRP has the liquidity, technology, capability and scalability to become a worldwide digital bridge currency, swapping/trading between fiat currencies that are not paired already.
Also cross-currency payments.  Smiley Smiley Smiley

So damn cheap right now!!

No worries, it will be at least 20-30% cheaper than now within month or two

you think ripple price will go down? why so?
I think it'll go up little by little

Because maybe he is smart enough to zoom out and look at the chart for Ripple. It goes up and down. All other top 10 coins have smashed their ATH with XRP falling way short. All guys do on here is get excited over any movement only for the coin to come back down a day or two later.

News does nothing for the coin and the reason is the banks aren't buying big on XRP, you keep waiting for it but it hasn't happened yet you keep believing they will, seriously? Banks think the ripple protocol is interesting but as I keep saying they are interested in just that and that's why Ripple has succeeded (not the coin XRP), don't confuse the two. They only need a miniscule amount of XRP for transaction fees. Sure they get cheaper fees if they use XRP from end to end but they wont and that's why they haven't bought big on it. They don't care about transaction fees as you pay them, not them.

you guys are constantly missing out on rises in other alts (or BTC) because you keep believing something that isn't happening.....

This speach was his biggest failure, in memory of biggest loosers of this thread Smiley))

xrp will come and go, too centralized, as has been proven time and again. 3

spend your profits elsewhere, i did not say it cannot go up, but better bargains elsewhere right now.
You are crazy. Ripple is down 90 % from its ATH. It is the best bargain in the whole market.

Ripple is ripple, the only coin that is being used by banks. That is why how ripple reach its status as it is now. Being included on the top coins at coin marketcap. Even now at $0.5 per coin. Surely it will return back to its ATH price at $6 dollars this year. This year is different. And already started. the bull returns.

In the World of Value, where banks are countries and currencies methods of travel, air travel is new.

XRP is the jetliner and Ripple the only airline, working with each country to build international airports in each.

Meanwhile, bitcoin are trucks, ETH are trains, and SWIFT runs the container ship industry. Oh yeah, and Ripple is dabbling in space travel. #moon!

This is well said and I agree with your analogy. Actually it can be used for the battle between crypto and banking in general. I have previously called it digital evolution within the financial system... the strongest, most adapting system will rise to the top.

I would merit you, but Im out and it seems even hero members must be drip-fed merit in order to pass it on.
cheers
