....one of the main devs had to step down DURING the bitcoin altcoin uncertainty period.

I'm a little puzzled by who you mean.....Mandica is simply the manager and yes, she's turned over control to jbg, the lead developer. She has some health problems that require her to be in the hospital.
Jbg says release is any day now of the improved v1.3.

This project was looking very promising but seams to have lost some momentum. I've entered it again recently after buying and selling a few times. Anon coins are doing historically very well unless the developers abandon them.

Looks like XSPEC is ready to rise again.

What is the rise signal?

no idea, this doesn't sound right anyway.

one of the main devs had to step down DURING the bitcoin altcoin uncertainty period. I dont think anyone is trying to keep the price down to consolidate coins cheaper, i think it has taken it's course organically.

the next update will be the sole force behind a price rise in xspec imo

I say that because of the recent big sell walls with descending sell orders in lame amounts that don't add up to much, squashing the spread and pushing the price down. Looks quite deliberate to me.

you could say a similar situation happened when the price got to 16k, the books seemed to be manipulated to some extent.

that being said, as long as the coin keeps moving forward then if someone is pushing the price down as you say, they won't be able to keep it up once the updates come in

If I'm right, then they won't want to keep it down. They are either A: acquiring on the bet the new release will bump the price, or B: Acquiring for a pump. Either scenario means there's a highly probable price increase around the corner.

Looks like XSPEC is ready to rise again.

We'll see if it lasts. There has definitely been an effort to keep it down and consolidate. It shouldn't legitimately rise without the new update, which they say is done, actually being released.

is this "Zero Knowledge Proof" thing not all about paranoia?  Grin
i mean is simply mixing and hiding your ip not good enough?
For me personally i don't care if it is that secure, because i'm just an investor who has nothing to hide  Grin
But i think the criminals will feel safer if they know, that the nsa or any other authority can't see what transactions were made if they get their hands on the devices by house searchings for example.

I very much disagree with the notion that there are two types of people: Those with "nothing to hide" and "criminals". Privacy is everyone's right. When you support a privacy coin, you are doing a service for everyone, not "criminals" It is criminals, in my opinion, who need to know what you are doing with all of your transactions. Those are the people who think they are magically entitled to a portion of what belongs to you. Thank you for investing in Spectrecoin, but not from a criminal, from a regular guy who values the privacy of all individuals.

amen brother this argument is very old and really does not hold up.

there are penty of examples. just think about tor.
afaik the hidden network was made as a method for whistleblowers and human rights workers to communicate with journalists, just to name one example.

Privacy is not only everyone's right it is a fundamental human right recognized in the UN Declaration of Human Rights!
From the point of view of the human right to privity, yes, this key is desirable to enter the wallet.
But as I said before, in no way will it protect you,
if you do not protect privacy when you manipulate your device.

No doubt will be included in the next updates.

my answer was only for the argument Those with "nothing to hide" and "criminals" from last page, which in my opinion is complete bs (btw. no offense)

if a solution is safe or not and and what you have to pay attention additionally to be safe or anonymous ist a complete different thing/question.

cheers and a nice weekend all

I can to say that your very precious time to post here you have to be very worried. If I really do not care about coins I do not want to spend time in their current forums.

If we get some solid releases, 1$ seems like an easy target from here. Torcoin was a proven scam, and is still trading at around 50 cents. Spectre is a total bargain now, just need some good releases and some more PR afterwards.
