yeah I know, but I assume(d) it would be seen somewhere in the new code or VERGEd / QT
./configure with the --with-gui options doesn't work:
checking for PROTOBUF... no
configure: error: libprotobuf not found
qmake won't run at all...
I will wait until DEV has compiled all QTs and put them on the website
yeah i need to replace the instructions on the readme, im doing that now. glad you got the daemon up =]
algos are switched in command line or .conf, using algo=x17, etc..

i dont do much linux..but i can telll that you need the dependencies...
on the github scroll down a bit, and it tells you the dependencies it needs.
looks like you dont have the make 'program' installed in your setup.
automake to be exact.

makefile.unix can not be found.
I ran: ./configure --with-incompatible-bdb
and then: make
but that gets a lot of warnings... but it is stil making , lets see if it works when it is finished
