It has delay. I guess every several hours you see the updated data.It's not just the block explorer, it's Bittrex and all the pools as well.

putting things in perspective....current network hash rate 793,934 is the equivalent of over 7,000 A2 scrypt miners.
And a difficulty over 8000.
Think about that....THAT's a huge amount of mining power

someone every few hrs...(and 100 different forums/topics/conversations) asks the same questions over and over and over and over...
Ppl get tired of it fast.
hence why most responses are the same... read back pages.
(i've seen it for the last 30 some years) never changes.
look at it this way...
if the dev would stop in and respond to every question, query...every time... how much coding is he going to get done?
the answer is always gonna be: its done when its done
asking usually makes it take longer.:p

if the latest testing fails, then ofc it has to be fixed. (i dont know the exact process)
but the waiting part, is easy. its in maint mode on some exchanges. probably the smarter ones.
(maybe that doesnt matter?)
