Soon countries will realize they can't kill cryptocurrencies. Banning doesn't matter as there will always be some countries and some banks allow its transactions. Crypto is here to stay with us even after bubbles or crashes.
While I agree with this at the same time we cannot underestimate the power of governments if bitcoin and other cryptos really became a threat to the current system they will do everything to forbid it including passing some very harsh laws and I'm not sure many people here want to become a martyr for their bitcoin and after a while most holders will comply with the law.

When will people understand that cryptos can not possibly be banned?
I think people understand, but there's the second thing, they can ban all big exchanges and if they do it, the effect will be huge.
Nobody who knows what is happening will ever seriously care about anyone banning "all big exchanges".

First of all, it's impossible that all big exchanges will be banned because countries like Switzerland have a vested interest in being the finance capital of the world, which will lead to liberal regulations regarding the new paradigm that is Bitcoin.
Secondly, decentralized exchanges are in the making which can not possibly be taken down by any regulatory institution. Both effects combined make sure that Bitcoin will not die and come back stronger than before if a large amount of countries decided to go to war against cryptos.

And in the meantime, weak and uneducated hands will get shaken out, while institutional money gets to load up on discounted Bitcoins.

It's up to you if you want to fall into their trap or not.
You're right that decentralized exchanges cannot be banned, but i mentioned big exchanges, frankly i don't know one big decentralized exchanges. About Switzerland, do you really think that? Do you know that Swiss banks has been forced to provides data about clients to goverments a few years ago? Big exchanges can be eliminated pretty easy way, if they will cut from liquidity from banks. This process happen now, slowly and gradually. If regulators will treat banks blacklisting, they immediately stop to provide fiat transactions to exchanges
That is eventually going to happen, we could avoid exchanges and use decentralized exchanges but we will be unable to exchange for fiat and each person will have to try to figure out by themselves how to do this, now if the adoption of bitcoin keeps going up we may reach a point in which we no longer need to sell our bitcoin for fiat and can use it directly to purchase stuff.

UAS,?No. The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) now allows its employees to trade Bitcoin and other digital assets. Moreover, CFTC’s Chairman J. Christopher Giancarlo recognizes that Bitcoin can no longer be ignored and that cryptocurrencies offer both significant challenges and opportunities.

When I said more countries are going to ban crypto or bring strict regulations some of the cryptomaniacs got mad and lost their minds and attacked me but finally I am right and the new inside news which I have got is more countries are going to follow it. Doomsday are ahead. Don't believe in HODL anymore. Pretenders are going to pretend and play with innocent people's money.

If you will listen to me you will be out with minimum loss. Many people thanking me as I exposed this scam  on Jan 10th and gave solid info how it is going to fall from Jan 12th. They are happy they got out when it was at ATH. Some people who din't trust me are crying as they lost more than half of their money. If you can get out of this madness now, you will atleast be left with half of your money rather than not getting a dime if you keep on Holding by trusting the HODL believers.

I believed USA should out of your speculation because the USA is already reviewed and believed to Bitcoin in which the pentagon is planning to study and adopt the Bitcoin Blockchain technology because they believed that the system was very strong and reliable against DDoS attack in which they need to defense their system by it. Bitcoin is no longer a threat to America as they already regulated it to protect the welfare of their people.

I assume not with usa . inside the global can manage Bitcoin. If we want to govern Bitcoin, we've got to name all of the nations in the global to make identical circulate to Bitcoin. We can not are expecting and simply Bitcoin condition over one news from one u . s . handiest. We ought to begin figuring out that even a effective usa like united states cannot control Bitcoin. also, Bitcoin making many countries so anxious and alert. because they need to be able to take benefit of these currencies and monetary phenomena so one can continue to exist in the economic world. human beings ought to be able to take advantage of this otherwise they may be outdated. however don't worry, human beings in one usa could make some exchange.

There are reports from various countries about the regulation of Bitcoin and ICOs. In this case, I think that short-term negative winds will positively affect mid-term.
For example, in my country (in middle europe) begun to restrictions against crypto trading in December/January banks just blocks transfer to and out crypto exchanges (based in our country) so we can still say "fuck you" and move further, however from more than 10 banks we have only two which left for our transaction into/out crypto

I have read all 7 pages OMG i don't know how I did this, but was pretty usefull I found some really new information about things now
But yeah tomorrow USA!
Doesn't really seem like it. Wall Street is prepping ETFs, so while regulation (or attempts of such) is likely there probably won't be any bans.
Good news for crypto users, I expect no more negative issues.
because Bitcoin is very vulnerable to the issue, thus making panic and falling prices.
Good and bad news always come in cycles. I'm not sure to what extent this is a coincidence and to what extent certain people are trying to manipulate markets... But in either way, I think it's safe to assume that there'll be more negative news in the future. But that won't be a problem anyways due to the decentralized nature of Bitcoin.
I hope the same thing, it may take time to educate that Bitcoin is volatile and always filter out information about negative issues, so it's not easy to believe then act carelessly or panicky.

And that you think so simply you can crush the entire market of crypto currency. I think this is impossible, as long as he himself does not want it and no prohibitions, and especially advice will not help. People know what they are doing and what risks they take in doing so.

I agree that it's more likely for governments to continue their streak of banning cryptos than not.

However is the crypto community going to become more sensitive to these events after so many bans and regulations, or will they become more resilient? Holders are holding because they believe that cryptos can become the dominant world currency eventually, not because they think the government is going to legalize bitcoin some day.

I personally think that the valuation of crypto will be more and more detached from news from the gov. Just my thoughts.

We do have our own speculations and it's our right to speculate and its for free. Yours is somewhat not on the side of cryptos and i respect that. Mine is something different and contrary from your views because i never think a digital currency that is utilized by people will be vanished.
