Hello together,
will anybody join our next Solo Burn / Lotto Run?
We will find our next Block and extend our Block findings (Solo Block 385022, 394940, 394946, 395087, 396941) from 5 to 6 or more :-)
At this moment we have 12 BTC and we start if we have 15 Coins
We will start 500 THs so long we have coins :-)

Interesting statistic (since there's not much else happening) - ckpool.org is now getting more than 1 million DNS hits per month.

Will a power outage affect the miner in finding a block on the solo pool? Is it basically just starting over when it resets after the power flickers?
There is no "starting over" you're rolling the dice 1 million times a second. What you get this roll has no effect on the next roll.

None other than not having any "dice" rolling. You can just setup a failover to your own bitcoin core (helping the community) or to a pool mine to keep making btc.
Fracking electrical cost is getting so high that with difficulty I've cut all my miners (25 th) off for the rest of February. Even the Sparky experiment is temporarily halted.

I guess there are others like myself at the moment who can't afford to rent additional hashing power. With the diff being so outrageous I would imagine that a lot of us aren't going to rent any for awhile. I'd like to see the diff drop, but that may not happen until halving.

Obviously I solved nothing, but does the power I rented increase the odds of my S3+ that was running on the same Bitcoin address in possibly finding a block sooner while it continues to run on its own?
The power you rented only increased your odds while it was running. It has no effect on your s3+. But you still could get really lucky with your s3.Awesome. Thanks for the response. I figured it wouldnt be that easy. I'll be keeping the S3 running but I may still rent some power again later on.
