cool wish list.   kind of doubt it is possible, but worth asking.

with kano.is and solo.ckpool.org sharing the same code base,
in the future, is it possible to add to a ckpool -p (local middleman) the ability to split active hashing power to each pool?
configurable : 50/50, 80/20, etc.  transparent to the src miner.

No. This is something you do at the miner end. Cgminer has had a multitude of failover/balancing/quota options for YEARS to do what you want.

I suppose it can be solved with a better GUI.   I might send bitmain a feature request.    Undecided

Question for the solo users out there: Is there demand for extra solo pools in other parts of the world? I can set up a China and Germany based solo pool now as well. Anyone interested?

It was more in line for those of us with a single Antminer, S series with GUI and no shell.

I think these are the settings you are looking for. Changing "url" to "quota" and specifying the amounts in the format "AMOUNT;URL". It makes it easier to use percents, but it isn't a requirement. For example you could use a quota of 8 for pool1 and 2 for pool2.

...
"pools" : [
    {
    "quota" : "80;http://pool1",
    "user" : "user1",
    "pass" : "123"
    },
    {
    "quota" : "20;http://pool2",
    "user" : "user2",
    "pass" : "123"
    }
]
,
"load-balance" : true,
...

(I just googled cgminer pool balance)

Awesome!  It's screaming...

{"hashrate1m": "1.41T", "hashrate5m": "1.39T", "hashrate1hr": "533G", "hashrate1d": "60.4G", "hashrate7d": "12.1G", "lastupdate": 1450239584, "shares": 1824885, "bestshare": 2709525.9528882345, "bestever": 2709525}

I have another 800g tube but I'm going to make a separate wallet address so I can monitor them individually.

Thanks again  Smiley
No problem. Good luck to you. Others with tubes and prisma are also welcome to use this port for their mining pleasure.

Keep on mining.

What miner is that? If it's asicminer tubes, their stratum is broken and will need a special proxy setup to work (which I can do on the pool via another port if needed).
Ya it's a Prisma 2.0
Let me know what to do and I will swap it back in.  Would love to hit the lottery with this puppy Smiley
I set up a special proxy for tubes/prisma on port 3335 that would combine and sanitise the stratum from these devices. It means they'll only be recognised by username (so no full workername details) but you can mine with them and monitor them collectively under your username  as the worker (i.e. your bitcoin address)

Instead of the usual port, just point your miners to: solo.ckpool.org:3335
and tell me how you go.

EDIT: I see you have connected already. I forgot to mention, you need to wait a few minutes for the proxy to properly redirect and recognise them before their hashrate will show up under your user.

I am seeing huge differences in what my miner is showing and what the site is.   1300Ghs on miner.....120G on the site.

This is after 12+ hours.

is this normal?  I know the miner is hashing because I can see the wattage being pulled.

hi guys can i use the same bitcoin address for 2 miners ? got 2 x s1 i wanna use but just want the one lot of stats

or do i use a _ant1   or .amt1 etc cheers all
You're expected to use the same bitcoin address for all your miners. It's entirely up to you whether you add extensions to each of them .ant1 .ant2 etc as doing so will allow you to check the stats of both of those miners separately under workers/ - you will still be able to see combined stats for both under users/

thanks ck i will put the 2 s1 as the one address so i can see the combined stats is that ok Smiley cheers
