MRR states it's an issue with the rented miners not working with ASICBOOST I'm not sure what the issue is I do not think this pool requires ASICBOOST but that is what they tried to say.
They are full of it, their system just can't handle the connection. Last time I rented from them, about 2 years a go, they had the same exact issues. A rental would continuously start and stop. Apparently it had something to do with their system requiring a specific difficulty range and couldn't handle the automatic difficulty adjustment of this pool.

Had similar issues with MMR while renting here seems ok if you select individual miners but any of the larger power rentals seems to always start stop.

i'm try to go on de.ckpool.org with rent of 12Ph .... for 4 hour ... block for me... came on!! how i can set diff on user?? thanks

If you use an incompatible rental service that refuses to work on port 3333 try port 4334

so, just try port 4334, good Luck!

now i'm on with 19 ph rented on port 4334 .... thanks but i think not luck  Embarrassed

My SSD space near depleted, blockchain 238GB  Sad.
If I use Exodus wallet address, will it work? I just worried if I block the newly generated block will not be recognize as spendable.
It will but I recommend staying with your own node instead. Simply change to a pruned node to save space. There is no need to keep the full blockchain if you have limited space.

Add something like this to our bitcoin.conf:

prune=10000

And that will limit it to using only 10GB of space. The lowest you can set it to is 550 which means only 550MB.

Think for yourself
Will a single machine with 28TH/s e.g. S15 have better odds of solving a block than a 28 TH/s from two 14TH/s machine e.g two S9’s?

Same hash rate = Same odds

Is it technically possible at all for my 9TH/s S9 (only two boards hashing) to solve a block however little chance it may be? I can keep it running forever until it burns if so.
Definitely. Don't forget that even the 1EH mines out there are filled with nothing but S9s and similar hardware anyway, and it's always still a single S9 or T1 or whatever that ends up finding the block.

Yeah my 3 have 9 boards and should hit a block in 283 months.

So 2 boards should take 4.5 x 283 months at current diff.

At biff I did answer why I don’t mine CPUs and gpus on this site.

Other coins give me better math odds with CPUs and gpus  then btc would.

Lastly you need just under 400 ph to hit a block a day.  Assuming normal luck.

would 100 phs do the job in a day?
Nope, not even 100PH is enough to guarantee a block in a day anymore.

If you don't got an USB Miner on it (2GH min.) it will not be a lottery, it will be a waste of time and energy.
Can you explain?

He's saying the minimum you should mine with would be a 2GH SHA-256 USB miner. Anything else, PC, Laptop, GPU, is too slow to even consider it a lottery device.

which is wrong, but what do I know.

a cpu doing   50mh or 0.05gh

vs gpu doing 100mh or .1gh

vs a stick doing 2000mh or 2.0gh

vs a stick doing  20000mh or 20.gh

vs a stick doing 40000mh or 40gh

all are lottery in my book

LOL, yes he's wrong, but you obviously know what he means. Because how many CPU's GPU's or Raspberry Pi's do you have mining BTC on this or any other pool? And if none why not?

I mine cpu's and gpu's at other coins since the math is better for me.

So the answer is no, which is what we all knew. But you didn't say why you don't mine BTC (not any other coin) here (not at any other pool) with CPU or GPU
