Just by looking at their user interface, you could easily tell how shitty the exchange is. And another thing is their list of shitcoins that only exist in them but they still continue to add more. I really laughed hard when someone named it YOSHIT because it really fits.
Interface isnt really an issue yet back into the early days where yobit do perform well as an exchange but those are the times that there are only minimal users knowing that ever since the owner itself is the one who do process withdrawals or any related to finance and time comes where users do increase problem had arise and now it do retain in the mind of those people who had personal experience in the site and Yoshit name is just right for this exchange until up to these days.

I also opened an account with Yobit last year around Nov, but luckily haven't used it yet. I did however read that there is a lot of complaints. I did get my fingers burnt with Coinsmarkets  Grin

After almost a year trading on Yobit, i give up.

2ETH cashout pending since November last year, 500xvg deposit pending for 2 months already and most recently invested 0.09 BTC (arround $700 at the time of investing) in their LIMBO coin. After 2 days (today) they made denomination so now i have 0.00014 LIMBO worth 0.47$ LOL.

Avoid them, run far away from them.
I have never trade with them though I have account with yobit.  Since I come to know about bitcoin and this forum I have never read anything good about this exchange and trading platform. However, I didn't not know why many traders keep saying one or two bad things about them and I need to know why others people keep trading with them. Hope yobit admin will go through all this comments people are making about them and change the ways there treat their customers.

I also gave up about YoBit. I was their user for two years, but from the end of the last year their support stopped to reply and the last drop for me was as minimum twice high fees for fiat withdrawing from the exchanger if to compare with other exchangers.

I always withdraw Ethereum from Yobit. There is a fee of 0.005 ETH. I think it may be the cheapest of all exchanges.
I never withdraw other currencies, because often have a problem with non-updated wallets.
Yobit uses only to sell tokens/coins which are not listed on other exchanges.

Damn myself lol i just got registered from that site recently who would've have thought it was a scam well it was famous for some reason but i didn't know it was a scam after all thank god i have read it here lol i was about to purchase some coins there so that plan is no more thank you btw lol.

You have taken the right decision because most of the coin listed in the Yobit is a pump and dump coins because some coins we don't even find their ANN and even in CMC also. So we have careful while investing in such exchange.

The due date is too late.
The insurance fund should pay the SAK based on the date of occurrence by converting it into BTC, and pay interest on the opportunity cost based on the delay.

and also there are really coins in the market which do only can be found on yobit exchange and as a trader you wont have any choice but to exchange on it on where it is available.

Coins only being traded on Yobit means that other exchanges aren't willing to list them for obvious reasons. Why is it that people are that desperate to go for these coins? It's not that there is much to gain other than a lucky shot if you enter on time. Yobit plays with people depending on their mood and hunger for more income. It's not that it concerns only one coin, or two, or three -- there are hundreds of coins they demolished with millions in user funds lost. You can't call yourself a trader if you use an exchange as Yobit. It's Russian roulette with your hard earned funds at stake. You say that traders don't have a choice but to use a certain exchange, but that's just nonsense. You can always choose to avoid shitcoins and shitcoin exchanges....
What if those coins you gained from bounties or any related task which you do make earn those things for exchange of your work? For sure you will find up exchangers on where it was traded. Sometimes users arent aware on where it is listed or some are wise to know it first before they engage to the task. These are only possible scenarios that can happen which would lead up in no choice but to risk to transfer those coins into yobit. We do know its reputation after all these years but still there are people who do plays with fire with the site.

I totally forgot about this exchange tbh.  Last time I was here I dumped about 0.02 on about 30 Yobit coins a long long time ago.. going by todays rate that about 0.75 BTC if sold at todays prices.

Being a raise only market and having 2 slots is a bit of a kick in the pants, considering I JUST finally reached my first 2 sells  - not bad selling like 0.30 Yobit coins for 0.02 BTC -  so not complaining and only have profit left. But its time isnt it.. ugh

Is there any regulation or institutions that may hereby be engaged?
Yobit in no shape or form is allowed to operate in certain countries without obtaining the right registrations, where in certain countries you even have to register yourself in various states. Yobit then seperately needs to register itself based on the variety of coins they have listed, because it's a mix of regular currencies, tokens, airdrops, etc. Yobit also needs to verify the background of those who are initiating an ICO through their platform. If people think regulators will not raid that exchange at some point, then they are delusional.

I'm not sure how much real evidence that this is a fraud attempt, Everything takes place on a free assessment.
The market isn't as free as you think it is anymore. Exchanges as Yobit have the luck on their side that regulators haven't yet raided them, but luck runs out at some point. Wink

Well this isn't something new.Yobit is well know for being a shitty exchange. They list shitcoins giving & that too at the rate provided by devs giving zero effs about their customer's.
If something big and bad happens, then they won't hesitate in running away with all the funds lol
A shit exchange.

I would recommend to avoid this exchange since the fees on transferring alts is too large, good thing i haven't encountered any problem with them although i made a trade once since there's a low volume trading there.

After almost a year trading on Yobit, i give up.

Wait, you've been using yobit for so long and you at this time have never heard people complain that yobit are scammers, that yobit does not do good service, that yobit does not answer the support tickets? how is this possible?

most recently invested 0.09 BTC (arround $700 at the time of investing) in their LIMBO coin. After 2 days (today) they made denomination so now i have 0.00014 LIMBO worth 0.47$ LOL.

someone posted a case that has to do with that coin

Beaware of Yobit.net

Right to the point this forum has lots of reviews from different individuals concerning a particular subject as some trading sites but how was the OP get scammed? Yeah being ignorant there are tons of different reviews regarding to that subject but the OP didn't bother to try questioning the masses about this matter not saying I'm as perfect as hell I'm also new but the basics are obviously easy when involving yourself in an unknown group or site to find out wether they're legit or not in this forum.

I just don't get on why are you still using it even though you are still waiting for them to resolve your isssues? The first one would be their fault but the second and third is clearly because of your stupidity. Don't put huge money on crap exchanges, always remember that.

Yes, why people are kept sending their BTC to yobit exchange even though they are seeing many fake coins in Yobit exchanges. Recently we have seen much negative news about the withdrawals and deposits from the community. So we have to be very careful when dealing with this exchange.
Not only seeing recently those issues since rather from the start they do already have that kind of issue when it regards to process these kind of things.Yobit is being known to be a worst exchang even earlier last last year and even now they are still operational having those thing tied up with their name. The thing on here is that they do still able to ran of the business because they do resolve out issues without any further notice and also there are really coins in the market which do only can be found on yobit exchange and as a trader you wont have any choice but to exchange on it on where it is available.

Does anyone really think he can double his money for a day with Liza, lambo, lizun, etc.. with 100% daily interest?
if you enter such a risky investment there is no basis for complaints. You need to control your greed.

Yes, people expect very high return in short period of time, once they loose money then they starts keep spreading negative news about the exchanges but we already know yobit will list shit coins in their exchange.

whether this is really a scam or they use people's greed to earn money? I think there's not much grounds for complaint

These people need to go away entirely. Their presence in the crypto world doesn't contribute to anything of worthy nature. The number of sense lacking individuals in this market is literally going through the roof. These people don't understand that they are inflating a bubble that will soon pop in their face, and it won't be a pretty pop, that's a guarantee.

They just want quick and easy profits, Not important way or what is behind of bubble.

I actually like to see regulators fiercely pressure these exchanges and to shut them down for ever in case they don't want to comply.

Is there any regulation or institutions that may hereby be engaged?
