Yeah, that 0.5 roll was a bit risky one, with high odds as well, dude managed to get 8 bitcoin versus 6.5 lost but that is just one picture, we do not know what happened before or after that. I am afraid its quite risky to win like that, it would have to be pretty lucky to end up in a good margin of profit, usually you end up losing a ton before you recover in those bets, like for example losing 10 times in a row but then winning like 3-4 times in 7 tries and suddenly you are closer to break even.

I have been around crypto gambling for about 7 years now so I have done all the things you could think of as strategy and I can tell you that this one is a pretty brave one, I wouldn't dare to do it. Not that it has any less chance to win or lose, they are all destined to house edge, but this one can end up losing too quickly.

Judging from my investments over the last week,,, he probably lost more later on (investments went down and then back up in profit for me). OR it was completely unrelated:)

But anyway, everything is risky, putting all your bankroll in one bet or many few bets, to win the same amount? It's all relative to time, but eventually has all the same probability. And amounts are relative to your wealth:) If all I have is 0.5 BTC then I am "brave" to go all in. But that guy probably had a lot more? He is less "brave" but anyway, kudos to anyone who gambles and has fun, that is the whole point:)

I think he won a lot.
Felt it in my investment.  Grin

I would never dare at that kind of amount.
It's too scary.  Grin
He may also be the one who will take the golden pot once the weekly contest is over.
The 2nd place is too far behind.

Assuming he made a profit, the most he could've made is 1.3 BTC according to the top players by profit chart. The reward wouldn't be worth the risk for me if I was a big whale like that.

This is really a big money to bet with 0.5 btc on per roll. Luckily you ended up making money which is a good thing else you could have lost as well as the nature of the game is to make the site profitable then the gamblers or players. You really took the risk and played it and got it regarded as well. Well done and play safe in future as well.

I cannot even think of placing those bets because either you are fine even if you can lose it and for me it is a very big amount. So, it has to used and invested or played in such a way that it does not affect me financially in case if it is lost. Gambling is nothing more than risk but yes if played for enjoyment or just to relax during this lockdown times and have chilling time then it is fine with some amount to roll.

Which is why that is not a banner, that is just a picture with yolodice logo in it.
Thanks for the correction. If ever I've got some spare time, I'll be posting YOLOdice banner that is available for commercial use and adverstising that is originally created by me  Grin

Any plans to open eth bankroll for investing?
Only ethan_nx and other moderators could give you a clear answer with this.

ETH bankroll will be probably open soon.

Hi all, are there any banners available to promote yolodice? I'm making a website and I want some banners but not the ones for bitcointalk, they don't work in my web.

This is the current loading screen of YOLOdice that you can find on their website. I just took a screenshot and cropped it. [1] https://imgur.com/ is a good image hosting website that you can put as the image source in your website.
That is a big picture and not really a banner. Banner usually is something you get in sizes and has stuff on it that allows you to promote it. Like for example "come to yolodice and get x return from each loss" or whatever, like something that would attract customers to the website. Not just a picture with words on it that doesn't really yell out "come either" or something. Which is why that is not a banner, that is just a picture with yolodice logo in it.

I would say if you want affiliates to work for you, premade ready banners are one of the most important things, I do not know if yolodice has any or not, but whenever I did affiliate marketing back in the day, I used banners that were already prepared for this purpsoe with the affiliate link ingrained in them for me to just copy and paste to my website.

In page one this thread has the image you can use as banner, just cropping one you like then add your referral link behind the picture.

code to be like this:

Code:
[url=https://yolodice.com/your refferal code][img width=500]https://i.imgur.com/5X8R9G6.png[/img][/url]

result:

What hosting do you use?, maybe some change input code to be working into your website, example

Code:

^I think those small wins do matter when you are talking about jackpots because even if you are betting on small amounts, when you win a jackpot you win jackpot of those small amounts.

Of course, it is not worthy enough to show it up on the recent wins column because it is a small amount, but it doesn't matter if others sees it or not, what matters is that you win and that is good for you and your gambling session.

Just to give an example, you play on 10 satoshi per bet, even less with just 1 doge or whatever, and if you end up winning a jackpot that is 100x that is still 100 doge and not much to public but that doesn't mean that you didn't win something huge for yourself, it was still a huge amount for you. That means you get to play 1 doge for 100 rounds without spending any new dime, that is a good win for you.

My 1st jackpot.
Ohh! I have never been this happy.  Cheesy
I know it's not that big but it rarely happens.

No matter how small it is or big, victory is always special and so is the jackpot. You have won it and that is a special moment for you and also shows that people do win the jackpot though it may be once in a while and for some it does not happen no matter you play it for many times and still do not even win any jackpot. It was your lucky day and you won it. Congrats again and keep playing but always be in control and should know when to stop it.
Yes, the price point doesn't matter unless you were going for a huge amount of profit in your gambling anyway. It is the feeling that is enough and that is why I think it is quite important that you won! I know that even when playing with funny small amounts, winning has always made me feel awesome, and I am talking about regular winning.

Considering I am playing with small amounts on 50% chance to win, that is literally almost every other one that I win and that still makes me happy. So, I could easily say that hitting the jackpot must be feeling awesome and great, that way you are talking about something that is very rare. Plus a jackpot has the great chance to give you enough bankroll to continue gambling the way you always did for a very long time, without ever having to deposit.

Yes, especially for those who are doing it 24/7.
It is just a normal thing.
Maybe it was more special for me because before I did the bets I saw the history of BTC jackpots and thought there is no chance I will get it.
Last win was 4 days ago.

I think it happens more often than that. They just don't display every single jackpot hit on there. Last time I won a jackpot it was for a tiny amount of Doge and my username didn't show up under recent wins.
Yes they might just show the players who won a large amount or with their capital, because in general it is not possible to show all the winners there, of course it will slow down the display, for me it does not need to be announced if only get a small victory, and for I have no meaning in describing names, what is important is that at least we benefit from victory  Grin

Ya it happens a lot more than that for sure, we only see our own hits as not all the small hits from us tiny whales are shown on the public leaderboard. Not very sure what the threshold is but I think only 1% of Jackpot and above will show? Anyway,,, all those tiny jackpots add up in the long run:)
