BTC to the moon is inevitable...
My first bitcoins came from Primedice signature campaign way back September 2014. From then on, I started to buy a little amount of btc every month and I have never failed to do so for the past 10 months.

How'd you get your first bitcoins (faucets aside) and what did you do to them?

My first Bitcoins came from Primedice also but it wasn't from their signature compaign. It was in November 2014, I was making around 100k sats per month from faucets at the time and was playing on PD, chatting from time to time. One beutiful evening a guy won over 2 BTC and was tipping randomly in the chat. He tipped me 0.015 at once, I was shocked (in a good way). I've never met that guy before and I've never seen him after. I even don't remeber his name now but I'm very grateful for his extraordinary generosity.

same thing here but i got it from a giveaway on reddit long time ago.
i was collecting faucets back then too. and one day there was this competition/giveaway on reddit which i took part in and won around 0.005BTC which felt awesome.

I've bougth 1 BTC for 30$ in June 2011, but sold it quickly as the first price bubble started to crash. Next one I've mined 2-3 months later with HD6950 (took me about a day) and sold for about 5$

My first large chunk of Bitcoins came from Mt. Gox. For a few months I was depositing money to Gox via Dwolla and withdrawing coins. I bet few people today even realized that there was a Dwolla link to and from Gox, or that things with the exchange worked almost perfectly in 2011-2012.

My first Bitcoin actually came from a friend back in 2012.
The good ol' days when faucets can give 1-2 bitcoins per user. I wish I could go back in 2011-2012. I'd definitely rape every faucet available back then.

Is this TRUE? WOW!!! I had no idea that faucets operated back then...that would have been cool (of course at the time they would have been considered dust payments as they are now).

My first Bitcoin was a Casascius coin.

Yeah this is true. And if I'm not wrong I believe also Gavin Andresen had a faucet where you got up to 5 BTC!! But that must have been around 2010 or 2011.Faucets exist for quite a long time now.Only the amount you get becomes smaller and smaller.
That time Bitcoin is only some cents! But now it is around $400!
When I got to know Bitcoin in 2013, I tried to collect from faucets as much as I can.
