As i said in other thread if Boston cant win in the game five with a Curry in 0 of 9 in 3 points shoots...... man its really uphill for they.

If Golden State its the champion this can be one of the worst champion i remember in the last years.

Andrew Wiggins could also be the X factor in game 6, but I'm hoping that finally Klay will have a big game because we call him "GAME 6 KLAY", if that will happen, this series will be over and the Warriors will win in 6.
Oh, I totally forgot about that. Game 6 Klay.
Who knows? We may see him bring more confidence in shooting the threes and also some accuracy. But even if he didn't bring that, I bet someone will step up their game again just like how Wiggins did. It could be Poole or Otto Porter Jr., who we know have their highlights in many different games.
Klay's defense contribution though is much needed even if he is off the 3-point line.

All of them have some chance to step up because Steve Kerr rotates his players properly to maintain enough rest for his key players. Game 6 Klay is also totally possible as he's showing some signs in Game 5 that he is back in his usual rhythm, so who knows he might be the key for the team to claim the championship this year. Wiggins and Curry are also competitive enough to give a hard time to the Celtics and make them confuse whom to be defended more as the Warriors roster are capable shooting inside and outside, there's no hiding when it comes to them.

Warriors are highly likely the champs and could be done in 6 games. They are a better team in pretty much all aspects. Offense, defense, bench players, player rotations, better coach. The only thing working for the Celtics right now is that they'll be home for the next game. The crowd could play a part into the game.

I don't like it because it means Warriors are losing game 5 and they will lose in the last game, it's not fun to watch.

You don't have to like it because the Warriors will not lose game 5, mark my words, I will bet my life savings for the Warriors in game 5 (KIDDING!). But seriously, this is the best spot to back the Warriors as they are back home and their chance to win at home is bigger than in the road.

Actually, both of them have the equal chances of winning the Game 5 later. It doesn't matter whether they play at Chase Center or TD Garden, the chances are still equal as both teams have won in both road and home games. Of course, that's not where we decide where to bet and experience will always matter and the Warriors have that. I might bet live games as I'm still undecided where should I bet because neither have won 2 games straight.

Yes that is correct but Boston really have a team that could deserve a title. GSW had it's time on my opinion and NBA needs a new fresh champ as non USA fans are kinda bored to see GSW or Lakers as champions because I've asked some guys and that was the answer. Now , back to reality a little , the best team should always win , no matter how much we will dislike that , we must be fair play and cheer for the champion.

Game 5 will be a tricky one but I just placed a bet on Celtic to win the game with GSW taking the 1st half and Curry not scoring more than 30 points... . Also , I have a feeling that whoever gonna win this game , will end up as a favorite to take it all because I can't see Celtic coming back if they loose tonight but I also cannot see GSW winning the series anymore if they lose on home court...

Well, if we will be the ones to decide who will win the title this season then for sure I would also vote for the Boston Celtics as they have been through ups and downs this season but they managed to adjust more to be more competent along the other teams in the league that's why they managed to be in the Finals because of their impressive performance. Surely nobody have expected that they could sweep the Brooklyn Nets in the 1st round and then defeat the defending champion which is Milwaukee Bucks, those feat alone makes them to deserve the championship.

But we know that is not how the NBA works as they should also play along the top teams in the league, all I can say is that they have a chance but it seems it's much lesser now because they need to clean up the last 2 games.

Klay's defense contribution though is much needed even if he is off the 3-point line.

He still has some good shooting form in the last 2 games, specially in game 4 wherein he came up clutch. When Smart hits a 3, he came back without any hesitation and hit it. And that will be the closest game 6 Klay (maybe Huh). But yes, who knows, maybe he really wanted to make a huge impact and specially in a close out game, he will again come in with those huge 3, maybe a dagger to close out the Celtics and win the championships.
Yeah, and Maslate actually opened up an idea for an addition to my bets.
If this is a possible end of NBA for this season I will risk a good amount for Klay Thompson for the number of 3-point field goals he will make.  Wink He will probably be more confident as he knows he had a history of making some good shots during this event. (Game 6)
I just wish the props for him at making three's will be open early because last time at Game 5 it is not available at 8 hours before the game starts.

Warriors is a complete package, players are stepping up when Chef Curry is not performing that much, Klay, Wiggins and Poole are orchestrating their attacks while they are also defending each attempts coming from Boston, no easy shots though Boston keep coming close till the third quarter but the Warriors made that 10-0 run and maintain the same momentum.

The series is now turning back to Warriors. Boston needs the adjustment that they can win and protect their home court.

It's a needed win for them to stay and push for the last do-or-die game.
Steph became the steward today and he did supply his teammates some good assist to be able to win the game.
Andrew Wiggins though is something else. He was consistent at his last games and we loved that but now it is different. He saw what the problem is and that's Steph having a rough night so he step up his game and exploded like a true All-Star. We had been waiting for this, he was always silent at stats of 16/6 average and was never a big trend but tonight is his night.

Let's wait for Klay, they are in the road for game 6 and maybe Klay will still have something up and it's time for him to show in this series. He also said that he wanted to help Curry, and we've seen how him and Wiggins did in game 5. But we will see if he can live with his "game 6 Klay" in Boston Garden. It's a huge game for both of them, Celtics to stay in the series and have a chance, and for Warriors to be crown NBA champions again.

The Boston Celtics will surely be aggressive to take the win here because as I also mentioned on another thread, they want to celebrate the championship with their home crowd and that's a wonderful experience.

Warriors know the importance of Game 5 and they will surely do everything to take the win tonight.

Yes, so they are now ahead 3-2, but they will have to travel to Boston Garden, so another must win again for them to not give the Celtics a chance to tie the series. Even if it is a win in a road in a championship, they have to do it. And this game shows how deadly the Warriors is, Curry is not having a good game, but Wiggins and Klay, Poole and Gary Payton cover enough to give them a good back to back. If not for the 1st game lost, this could have been a Warriors championship again, but they have to wait.

Yes, if not with that 4th quarter comeback from the Celtics, the series should be over now, but we should be happy cause we still

enjoying good games from these two great teams, everything still possible to happen but counting with Warriors experienced

still a big advantage. This team remains intact even the players are also new to the system. Chef Curry always has someone to

lean on, everyone is there and willing to help him to win the game.

Yeah, sooner or later that trend will break up, and with that said, I think the Warriors are going to win game 5 at their home court. And just like what you said, the difference is that the Warriors has been in this kind of situation before and knows how to react and they should it up, with Curry and the rest of the team hitting crucial shots. And so. they responded big at Boston Garden although it was really close in the first 3 quarters. The Celtics even takes a good like with 5 minutes left. And as far as the MVP awards, Curry will have his first career after they win the series.

it's hard to conclude right away, before these series start most of the fans believes that Warriors can easily beat Boston some are willing to give +2 handicap for Boston but look what's happening right now, Boston almost got that comfortable lead if they manage to protect that home-court advantage and take the 3-1 lead but again, it's the experienced that Warriors have as an advantage, they didn't allow that and now regain the home-court advantage.

Hard to say who's going to win their upcoming game, but most likely Warriors will not waste any opportunities again, they have the right adjustment last game 4 they just need to enhance the executions to make sure that they can win this game at home.

I guess now we can conclude that, and as I have been speculating, the trend should break in game 5 and it did. Boston never lost back to back, but it did happen.

And Curry having a bad shooting night against Boston and still win?

Best 2 games of Wiggins in the finals, he has proven himself already, this year, All Star appearance and then helping the Warriors in two huge games.

The world needs Celtics to win game 6 so we can have a do or die game 7 in Oakland.  I have to admit I was bearish on the Warriors all season and have to give steph some credit, they literally came out of no where to stay in the top of the western conference and clean up through the playoffs.  If they can win 1 of the next 2 games steph will have cemented his legacy in stone.

At this point of the series, no one would be surprised if either of the teams gets the title. They both played great games, they both won at the away games and they both are not the big favourite of the series. The atmospheres and pressure will be extremely high and hands of the players will tremble. This is the moment for greatness. If one of the teams have an awesome night and win the extra game, they will get the title. But of course that is the whole point. Playing greatly at the right moment, at the most important moment will get you series in the playoffs and now the title. That being said, when things are tough, I expect Warriors' experience will get them the title. Can't predict if at game 6 or 7, but they have been here before a lot and probably will play better and get the title.

I'm starting to see a lot of analysis on game 5 that it's going to be the game for the Warriors. Well, it makes sense, look at the two wins of the Warriors. They're able to win flawlessly unlike with the Celtics, they're always near with the Warriors.
If Curry and Thompson are on fire, for sure that this will lead them to win and it's always these two superstars are always on the reel and highlight for wins that they get.

Listen I'm in on the Warriors tonight too but that doesn't mean anything.  Bookies win most of the time for a reason, peoe are generally wrong because they bet with their heart.  I'm going purely on home game and experience.  But Celtics are young and hungry maybe they shock here.  Either way enjoy the ge should be epic!

Hey! LOL!  Grin
Yeah, I doubt they will let them steal another one in their hometown, that will be too much and it will raise a lot of questions to the team and the coaching staff about why they are letting it happen.
If Game 5 will be a sure win for you, how about Game 6? I am really excited about how this will end as the Celtics are also not backing down. They proved a lot in this playoffs and more.
Let's just see how Game 5 will be and maybe we could dissect what would happen in Game 6 afterward.

Whoever wins game 5 might be the NBA champion, that's my guess. If the Celtics win game 5, the Warriors will be pressured and they might struggle in game 6, so game 5 is really a must-win for them, no excuses, Curry has to score 43 points again if that is necessary for them to win.

Right, whoever wins in Game 5 later will have the most chances to become the champion this season. The question is who, will the champion this season is a fresh face or a former champions? It's been a while since we have this kind of match-up in the Finals, both teams are so good that even playing in their own homecourt isn't viewed as an advantage anymore as both of them are capable to bounce back after a loss.

Steph Curry shouldn't try to carry the team because the team cannot afford him to be weary because in the past 4 games, we saw him carrying the team either they have been defeated or have won, Curry was always there leading the team while his other splash brother is still finding his usual rhythm.
