I think that NFT launched by playing games to earn income like Axsie or the like will last a long time because NFT has been getting more and more popular among the public so that it will help encourage its popularity to last longer. In addition to generating income, playing games to make money can also be used as an alternative entertainment when we are bored.
Many things are difficult to predict, today's NFT looks promising of course many people think that NFT can last for a long time, I don't want to be stuck with predictions like that, as long as this can be profitable then we take advantage of it, but if tomorrow NFT dies then I won't too regret.
Some NFTs will surely last the ones with good roadmaps good team and developers, with reference to Axie Infinity AXS this NFT project is trending well in the crypto market, AXSUSDT has been well traded in Binance, it volume traded daily is increasing as well as it market Capitalization, it is not necessary or compulsory to trade on any NFT blindly, it requires a thorough research to pick out investor friendly ones just like Axie Infinity which started trading in Binance with $0.10 in 4th November 2020 whose price presently stood at $94. 
now that we are in the market almost bearish to be investing in some NFT would be very dangerous and definitely a next move not to mention that there are already ten projects that just have nothing good and took advantage of the time when the market was in relation to NFT. talking about the survival of these NFTs in the long term i think they can still survive for at least 3 years or more depending on the type of project but not many projects will survive, the market will always have something new that replaces something old

Actually, you are right that it is better not to be stuck and be ready to change your sphere in crypto world so as to be in trends and make money on it. In terms of NFTs, I think that they will develop as tools for storing data and documents. Companies will tokenize different things so you will get rights on these things confirmed by blockchain and unique token. 
this is the character (axie token) which is the basis for many developers and game lovers to share the same hope, a paid hobby.but NFT has the flexibility to manage transactions, for example in buying and selling art, this is a plus for Nft.
Other means of exchange/payment as long as the user is still using it (barter) means that NFT will still exist and work in any way. we don't know what needs to happen in the future with any currency (bullish or bearish)or even scary thing (delisting)whatever the possibility we have to be willing and follow

The truth is that I do not believe that NFT will die,
For sure it will not die but the hype for a million dollar NFT will be over soon. NFT already established its market and utility in different crypto sector. So there's always a new way to incorporate NFT into new crypto trend. I believe the only sector that it might die are those NFT collectibles that don't have use case at all like cryptopunk.

The truth is that I do not believe that NFT will die, for now NFT is going through a state of crisis due to the number of NFT games that have turned out to be big scams, but this is because of the devs themselves and investors who do not do enough research and they get carried away by what a youtuber or an influencer on twitch says when we all know that they are paid to speak well of their projects without even doing the relevant research, they only care about the money they pay them and now, in this case we have many more hopes for 2022 because the metaverses are coming which are much more promising and will go through other networks such as Solana, Polygon among others that are cheaper.

I think the time to invest in NFT is over. Of course, there will be some new good projects on the market, that will certainly let us make money, but the technology is moving forward and I think there will be something new in 2022 that will get investors attention more than the NFT.
If its NFTs you are asking in general whether they will last or not My question will be how many industries basically out of the blue announced nfts in the last few days I mean if you have been following closely I think pepsi made an announcement amazon ebay and many other Nfts ideas are never going to die mate I just think some things and over hyped while others are still small So I think time and just preferences will determine lots of things

I bought an NFT on solana network, still waiting for the longterm outcome. The one in bought on pancakeswap are currently useless nothing more than a cartoon. Lols
Also, I believe that the combination of NFT and Metaverse will be the next step in the cryptocurrency world that will be hyped. I am constantly watching this industry and I believe that there is still a lot that can be done here. I think that Metahero is a very interesting project combining NFT and Metaverse.

What I am seeing with NFT market, is that it is still at the very early stage of development.
We can see that it is not only a hype but they do have use case in many aspects.
It is not only for gaming but even in sports or arts. This is why a lot of athletes or personalities are creating their own NFT series collectibles.
And this phase is just only beginning. I have seen artists or singers creating their NFTs like NFT audio.
Which for me is actual application of the NFT industry. So this will last long as many artists/singers/athletes/personalities discover this digital way of reaching their fans.

It depends on how it's developed. For now I think it will be successful if the new NFT token appears again because NFT is still a lot of interest and enthusiasts also see the potential or opportunity for the NFT token that will appear as I said (depending on how it is developed). There are many possibilites, Like Rich people confused to spend his money, Marketing strategies (To make an hype on his platform since most of sold nft with ridiculous was sold outside opensea) or some money laundering scheme.

But what I could say is that it guarantee nothing and therefore, we don't have to expect 100% as well.
