BTC mining: Slush Pool, Stratum V2 & Braiins OS+
July 19, 2018, 06:45:27 AM
Well that is really interesting because AntPool mining address shows many more mined blocks: https://explorer.zcha.in/accounts/t1ZYZS6ynUDbvht7vH3dMiM3rsAJ1p6EGWC

Are you saying that rewards from these blocks are not distributed to miners?  Huh

For overclocked Z9 you should be getting about 0.15 ZEC daily on average on our pool and majority of other decent pools.

im abandoning antpool , although i'm going to monitor what the next luck% is for their next block(if they ever find it). I bet its going to be a joke like .2% luck.

Blocks really slow on other pools now too.

Maybe Antpool was having some issues??? OR just taking ZEC from us???

I was on Antpool briefly since Slush and no other pools were working for ZEC initially. Very high rejection rate. Switched to Flypool which was better. Currently on Slush with zero fees and getting 0.20/day. A lot of people stopped mining ZEC on Slush over the past few months but slowly coming back and hash rate has doubled from new ASICs.

Anyone using the password field to set static difficulty on Suprnova?

Just wondering if there is some optimum setting besides just using the ccminer port...

I'm in the same boat, i actually almost never hit the estimated based on Zhash.pro site or whattomine.com.

THe last few days my Z9 is mining with avg of 16k sols (i'm O/Ced to 737) and I get between .91 and 1.0 ZEN per day from July 14-16th, Never got past 1 Zen per day.  I'm trying our suprnova for 2 days to see how that one is doing.

In about 21 hours of mining I have around 0.12 ZEC on FlyPool.  More like it!

Maybe Antpool was having some issues??? OR just taking ZEC from us???

I got lots of rejects (stale) on Antpool and the performance wasn't so great.

Having much better luck on Flypool.  Very few rejects and generating ZEC0.153/day over the last few days.  (I'm o/c to 750mhz btw).

With the spike in ZEN value yesterday I flipped back to Zhash.pro for a bit but it underperformed Flypool.  Very frustrating that I *never* get the estimated results Zhash.pro lists on their website -- far below, in fact.  Flypool is much better and more accurate at reflecting estimated results.

Zhash.pro is so bad at its estimates (always on the high side) that I think it's intentional.  Usually estimating ZEN1.3-1.4/day and in actuality I get (on average) about 1.1/day.  Worth doing the math if you are trusting the estimates yourself.

I agree!! From July 11 thru July 16th I got the following ZEC payments (rounded):

0.096
0.085
0.049
0.058
0.036
0.249

I look at my payments daily and noticed this downward trend.  I was thinking maybe the difficulty went way up or something (i.e. Bitmain running their new Z9 "max" before shipping them in September Roll Eyes ).  However, I checked some mining calculators and saw I was getting WAY lower than I should be for the hash rate I was at.

So I immediately moved off Antpool for ZEC and went to FlyPool  https://zcash.flypool.org/ - never used FlyPool before but figured it all out - pretty easy.

In about 21 hours of mining I have around 0.12 ZEC on FlyPool.  More like it!

Don't bother using zpool with the z9. I connected to it when I first got the z9 and was making less than 50% of what whattomine was indicating, figured it might have been an unlucky day and went elsewhere. I decided to try it last night, with setting BTC as the payout coin hoping that would help, still same issue. Running OC'd at 750, ~16,300 hash I generated .00052464 BTC over 7.5 hours. Obviously I know this isn't a massive dataset, but i'm not going to waste 24 or more hours to confirm what I already know. At that rate, it is generating less than half of what I have been experiencing at any other pool.

There must be something on their pool not playing nice with the z9. I would add it to the list so no one else wastes their time like I did.

Yep, zpool is crap, half of reported or estimated values on their own site. Should be warning against using this pool at the top.

I'm mining Zen on Zpool which seems to be accurate according to whattomine.com. True, the pools estimates seem overcalculated by about .2/day but I don't see the problem as long as i'm getting the correct payouts according to an accurate calculation.

Their blog said they would try for 4-6 weeks after their July 1 update (https://blog.zencash.com/zencash-statement-on-potential-equihash-algorithm-change/). So early/mid August? But they also said they could review/change that decision: so maybe never?

Thanks, happy days!
I've been pulling 1.2-1.7 ZEN per day since the Z9 arrived.
