zcash4win has to improve... constantly having to upgrade versions due to the wallet simply not working. I never know if it's actually going to sync or die with another daemon error or not.
It literally makes me scared to send ZEC to it.. I know that's not rational, but I could only imagine what less technical investors feel like. We appreciate all of David and folk's hard work, so please take this constructively.

Do you have any forecasts about this coin in the upcoming 2018? Does it make sense to buy in the long term? Or pay attention to something else?
On the coin, we can say the following; developed in general do not offer anything new, the purpose of their project is crystal clear - Payment system, nothing superfluous. I took a long time and have bought a few coins for the future growth and currently sit quietly and just watch. Price for dollars is not particularly long jumps and I think very soon I will still buy. I am convinced that the price will be very high for one coin in the future.
With 10 (ten) payments of 0.01 Zcash., A day produces about 0.1 Zcash, and a month (take 30 (thirty) days) 3 Zcash. What at the current rate will be $ 131.67 / month if it is mined

...the reason why you will not find much talk here, is because the guys in the know, the ones who stay behind the ZEC project (financially), are not the ones who waste there time in a forum...

As Komodo Platform has been working around the clock to fine-tune the multiple GUI's that are the face of our Agama multiwallet and BarterDEX atomic swap protocols, there have obviously been many bugs found and many debugged. However, one bug in particular was found not only in our Agama GUI wallet, but also in the zcash4mac GUI swing wallet. It is a simple bug, but it warrants your attention. This is a potential money cost bug, and as a Bitcoin-protocol cryptocurrency, your GUI wallet(s) may be susceptible. We are reaching out directly to the developers and communities of the 60+ coins featured on Agama and BarterDEX as the bug may have a direct impact on you (via your own wallet).
watchonly-GUI bug: 'watchonly' addresses appearing as your own in GUI wallet; users could potentially send funds to the address, unaware it is not theirs or available for withdrawal. You can import and it becomes a 'watchonly' address. The GUI will display the address as yours, add its funds to your balance, and accept deposits, but cannot be withdrawn. This could be a normal address, my address, a p2sh address, satoshi's address, etc. This can be confusing to an end-user and will lead to many headaches for the developer, as is always the case with misplaced funds.
FOUND: in Komodo Platform's Agama multiwallet (fixed) and zcash4mac GUI swing wallet (@jl777B: "newest QT wallet seems ok about watch only, but not sure of older and when it was fixed")

SOLUTION: For the 'watchonly' address or any address not yours, the value 'ismine' returns false. Any such address gets filtered out.
QUESTIONS:
We need to experiment a bit to see which approach gets a better response triggering the bug. People WILL lose money if they send funds to a watchonly address.
We want to spread awareness and facilitate discussion of this bug to minimize the impact.
Of course - we can always talk about how you can use BarterDEX today to trade Zcash via atomic swap directly with your peers, through our beta GUI and without downloading the entire blockchain ; ) That’s how we found the bug, after all.

Recently, the price of bitcoin is so high that it will affect ZEC, so it is still not good to buy, but there is a constant value of concern.

Why did ZEC drop by 20$ today?
Could it drop more?
20 dollars in this market is very small. Even that may be considered personal. The course is not in place ever. If the market is in the growth of the general trend, the price is usually returned to previous levels. But I'm more interested, when there will be a significant growth really only in the spring can this wait?Could it drop more?
