Windows Guy Myself, I sent Rent_A_Ray a PM that you need help.
He is our Dev and a Mac user so if anyone knows he does, he is a busy guy so it might be a little while before he gets a chance to respond.

Did a search, couldn't find a Zeitcoin directory, just files for the wallet. ;(

i believe cryptopia will soon fix that problem (i cant wait this to buy rest of cheap coins from there)
i believe zeit is waiting to explode and that in short time period
after that they grow slowly to one of the top coins
zeit u know what they means i told u zeit means time
(I work at the cottage 5 rooms from 9 are ready and i think to acept zeitcoin at payment for my little busines)
in my opinion u dont have a lot of zeit to buy zeit ...!!!

This project is nice and dev is active. iTS an old coin. holding over 1year. hope this coin will get attention soon.  Grin

On your Mac,  do a Search for the Zeitcoin directory on your hard drive.
When you find it extract the files into the zeitcoin directory and then start your zeitcoin wallet.


 

It's not about buying too late, it's about selling too early.

Got the file but these directions are for Windows. What to do on MAC?

NEW Wallet: Install Instructions
Make a Zeitcoin folder under C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\
Then Extract and copy the files from ZeitcoinBlockchainSnapShot.rar into
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin
Then open Zeitcoin and it will start syncing the BlockChain from the last snapshot.

Yes , get synced 1st, and send only a very small amount the 1st time to test, before sending the rest.


 

Thanks mate.  3 weeks would be quite a long time. I'll follow the directions to "snap shot".  I'd love to get some stake going and just have them off exchanges. 

To be clear I should get it synced first then do a transfer yes?

If you try and sync from scratch , it will take you over 3 weeks.

Your Wallet will not see the coins, until it is synced.

Anyone using a Mac have any changes to the instructions for CointMeIn on installing the snapshot to a Mac, if so please post it.


 

Trade Satoshi  is also having growing pains.

CoinExchange or Yobit have yet to sync their wallets, any coins you buy there are not transferable off their exchanges.

At the moment only SouthXchange & AlcurEX are running at normal speeds.

In SouthXchange, Click Wallets,  Click LTC,  Click Deposit, and the last address is your litecoin address on SouthXchange, Click the Copy button , and then paste the address into Coinbase Send to address, visually compare it and only send a very small amount out just to test , the 1st time . That way if you have something wrong, you will not lose the entire amount sending to a wrong address.

Oh, also on Coinbase make sure you are in your Litecoin wallet and not one of the others.
Litecoin Address normally start with L .

If it still refuses to send to SouthXchange.

You could try this:
If you have a Cryptopia Litecoin Address , send your coins to it from CoinBase.  (Always test with a very small amount the 1st time.)
Then Send a very small amount of Litecoin from Cryptopia to SouthXchange to make sure it works ok , before sending the entire amount.

* If you get the same error trying to send to Cryptopia, then odds are you are using the wrong coin wallet in Coinbase. *

 


FYI:

Cryptopia trading systems had over a million users join in the past few weeks, this overloaded their Trading hardware infrastructure.
To keep the site running, they had to disable EVERY MARKET using LTC and Doge Pairings, so their site could handle the demand.
They don't have an ETA when the LTC and Doge Markets can be back up , so for now they are closing ALL of those LTC/Doge Markets.

Anyone help a noob out with some simple answers?  I got my Zeit on a few exchnages now and downloaded the mac wallet.

Downloaded file, opened, worked fine. It's now "Syncing" telling me there are 1390 days to go?  

Any tips what to do next?  All directions seem to be for Window wallet.

I have to wait until it's synced to transfer over my ZEIT yes?

From support : Our addresses are SegWit. The other exchanges should support it, if not then contact their support team. In the mean time you can deposit them in your own wallet and from there to our deposit addresses.
