I checked with my MD5, but it did not match; MD5 Checksum: F760A679B086CEA7FA4FA0F0448B5906.
My and different!

Some people scan the zip file and compare the checksums.

After you unzip the download, then Scan zeitcoin-qt.exe to compare checksums.  Smiley

Download Latest Wallet : Ver 2.0.2.1
And use the Blockchain Snapshot to get updated fast

Staying on the older clients ,before ver 2.0.2.1
just means you are wasting your time and electricity as none of the coins generated on the older clients will be accepted by the current network.

Does it also mean the coins they send to an exchange won't come through either?

Doubt it.
They are running on forked chains, because they never updated.

Yes, not right now. But I should have checked at the time this error appeared to see in real time.

Do we have a historic log of the nodes in last 48 hours?

Last 24 hours only

So I have checked and I am unable to find a way to get the scan logs but I have got the IP addresses that were blocked by Malwarebytes which were initiated by the Zeitcoin-qt.exe

23/10/2018 - 95.140.125.112 Port 57531 - Website blocked due to ransomware

18/10/2018 - 95.140.125.112 Port 62406 - Website blocked due to ransomeware

10/10/2018 - 109.202.103.170 Port 55766 - Website blocked due to Trojan

*I tried to send you a PM but it says you won't receive message from newbies*.

Hmm,
Just checked None of those IPs are listed in https://chainz.cryptoid.info/zeit/#!network ,
So they are not part of the zeitcoin network.

* Always have a wallet.dat backup on an external drive before working on a system.*

1. Use md5-sha-1-checksum-utility on your zeitcoin-qt.exe and post your checksums here , so we can verify your exe has not been modified.

So I have been staking and today Malwarebytes blocked one of the connections and gave the error "website blocked due to ransomware". Then I checked my notifications a similar error had also come on 18th of October with the same error and one on 11th October with the error "website blocked due to trojan".

The websites are all IP addresses, all different, all at different times and dates and all on different ports.

I am guessing it may be because of the nodes at that particular time was infected?

What may be happening?

Oh yeah the error came on Zeitcoin-qt.exe and while it was running, so that's how I know.

Unknown , could be a bug in Malwarebytes.

Or could be someone trying to cause congestion in our network. (Yes they are that afraid of zeitcoin.)

Exactly what IPs were listed?

And did you confirm they were part of the zeitcoin node network using getpeerinfo or https://chainz.cryptoid.info/zeit/#!network  ?

If the IPs were not in the node list, then it has nothing to do with zeitcoin.

*PM me the detailed malwarebytes log, if you want me to take a closer look.*

I will check the IP addresses and compare them with the nodes list. I say it's zeitcoin because the connections were initiated by zeitcoin exe. I will check and report tomorrow.

Is that  ".0005% interest on their coins" a year?

Yep.  Smiley
Interest on Proof of Stake:
ULI : .0005% per year

Meaning less than 500 new zeitcoins are created daily on average.
*bitcoin is currently creating 1800 new coins per day.*

Actual New Coins per day , can be seen here.
