Hi, i really like this pool.. i am wondering about Shares - my shares% is much higher than the Earning percentage. Is there a reason why?

Please read my several previous posts and the whole thread.... It will fill in a lot of the gaps and answer those questions.

In short, ignore it for now.

Last 24 hour balance graph not working properly Crackfoo.

Odd bugs happen when changes are being made to the pool.

As long as the miners are still online and their graphs reflect your readings, you should be fine.

It doesn't make sense for the server to re-tally each and everyone's wallet data each time its loaded, instead it seems like its held in a container fo 24 hours so if any errors were there, they will be there until it gets to be too old and is overwritten.

Id say for any issues related to this, or graphs like the total payout graph are not advancing like they normally do;  Give it at least 12-24 hours before considering it an issue;  cause crackfoo makes lots of updates to the pool;  and these minor nuisances are common to updating a live and current running system such as this.

There is a HUGE spkie, and it flatened the rest of the graph.  I think JK also mentioned this in a post.       --scryptr

-o stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca: -u [-p ]

Please always set your currency in your password field: c=

So if I want to mine HVCO I need to write c=HVCO (with HVCO address) or if I have a BTC address I need to write c=BTC.

Can anybody help me?

I see you've been doing some poolside changes...

Lots of SHA256 coins offline...

Saw an odd pay spike and retraction earlier.... Got some ~49,000% share on a few blocks, and it was pretty hilarious to that see in my wallet page.... cause nothing ended adding up, but it showed on the graph =)

I'm curious at how the pool calculates rental pricing... Intuition makes me think it should always set rental price to a small % above a payout average delta that's roughly around or under an hour previous to the rental....

I'm just worried in the future that it could be less profitable, but more importantly I just have a need to understand the details Wink

monitor block finder addresses, if they are different than coin mined, there will be supply of that coin, it depends on your hashrate too, if you have too much you will drain all and you will be owed close to forever if you continue to use that address...

what are the other high paying coins beside BTC I just dont want to pick a payout that will take forever thanks

You get a 0.0005 BTC payment on a Sunday. The payment settings are global, 0.005 every 6 hours, additional 0.0005 on a Sunday. DASH is the next highest available coin that gets mined quite a lot recently. DOGE probably won't get mined enough for continuous mining.

I am very interested in seeing how the new rental feature will work out.
What rental features?
Guess it has been deactivated again.
There was a rental feature activated for a short time where people could pay to rent hashrates similar to Nicehash. It was in addition to the regular mining. It was also labled beta so it most likely isnt ready for release yet.

Yeah I turned it off again. The admin page wasn't behaving properly. I'll need to look into it some more.

Noob question here. What's the correct way to calculate the factors to normalise profitability?? Not very sure if it's simply a hashing power relation with scrypt.

Thanks

HASH RATE--

You need to know the hash rate your card(s) will get with your particular software.  Then, for each algo in the looping batch, you place that hash rate.  That is the easiest way.

You can also "normalize" your hash rate constants so that one algo is set to a value of "1".  Scrypt used to be set to 1, but most GPU miners no longer mine scrypt.  X11 may be more appropriate.  In this case, set X11=1, then divide each other algo's hash rate by the hash rate that your cards get for x11.  The results may then be used as proportional constants.  Quark will have a constant bigger than 1, Neoscrypt will have a constant less than 1.  High School math.       --scryptr
