Looks like I have to divide my hashrate on those 2 algo's by 1,000.
Which is the pool's fault I think....not sure. It maybe Minercontrol not able to read the high hashrates.. not sure.

I don't use minercontrol but that seems overcomplicated. You don't want to distort the actual hashrate. The scaling
only applies to comparing profitability after normalization. Simply include the scaling factor with your normalization
of the applicable algos. Shouldn't that work?

Correction: Actually zpool is presenting the hashrate in a different scale so yes you must correct it before normalizing
unless minercontrol tries to autocorrect.
Yes but its the pool.....I just took out those 2 algo's for now.

Crackfoo

Is the pool sending out a false high pay rate on blake2s  and blakecoin algo's ?
My miner is stuck there. Are those similar to DECRED ?
It's stuck on those.

Crackfoo should I take them out of my conf file ?
Thx

Make sure you scale correctly...

Code:
*** values in mBTC/Mh/day (mBTC/Gh/day for sha256 and blake algos)
The scale I have is like 4.500    24 hrs advantage so miner control picks it up as 4.5 BTC/MH/DAY so I'll have to put in my conf file not 1gh/s but 1mh/s as my hashrate .... should display .0045 or the signal put out on the pool not 4.500.
But the signal the pool puts out should be received correctly but not...  Undecided
Should be like nicehash.... I'll have to divide my hashrate by 1,000 then... not right Crackfoo.
The pool should send out .0045 btc/gh/day  not 4.500 btc/mh/day or something like that..pool is off by 1,000 times to high.

Thx

well my 24h+ testruns are over and i might say those 25-30% higher profitabilities
reported on zpool are non-existent, i get very similar btc from nicehash and zpool
the same algo (qubit, quark, x11).
so in the end block % is much closer to reality than shares %, not technically but for practical calcs.
unfortunately it seems impossible to construct a formula or even a good estimate
since zpool and NH use so different approaches
Based on a recent short multi-algo test on NH, I'd say zpool far outstrips NH, but maybe that can change with supply and demand of orders.
There are definitely some figures that don't seem to add up on zpool, whereas hashpower didn't seem to have the same problem. The latter pool though looks like it needs putting out of its misery at times.
it's important - i didn't run multi-algo, i ran one-algo per test on both,
just to see what really means if NH reports 0.15 and zpool 0.21,
but actually i get almost the same amount of btc.
i started that only because of those strange share % discrepancies
Checked back (as I do from time to time) to see if anything has been done to address the shares issue; it would appear not. For those unaware, there has been a persistent discrepancy in shares credited to the tune of ~20-25%. Here's a little test I ran quite some time back on the pool. At any rate, it seems prudent to account for a 20-25%, "fee", when mining on this pool.

For those using ccminer from tpruvot I can now collect GPU statistics and display them on zpool. This is an opt-in collections so to include your GPU stats, simply add stats to your password field:

c=BTC,stats,d=2,etc....

Once more people do this, miners will have an idea what cards can do.

http://www.zpool.ca/bench

Cheers

Can you have it be:

Stats,c=BTC,d=....

This is the format I have been using because that way machine/device identifier shows up first.

I label my devices as such:
device name-device#

I.e. P690gtx980-1. Which is my p690 with a gtx 980 and its #1.

yeah certainly. it can be anywhere.

Heres a trickky question:

Is M7M considered a SHa256 algo? >)

What is the context of your question? It is a chained algo that includes sha256 but it's not for the
purposes of scaling zpool's profitability estimate.

i really hate you zpool you make high diff for some dead coins i wanna mine cheap  Roll Eyes

Perhaps, mine for them on zpool?

whats the point if u raise the diff by 10x Cheesy

you can mine for them on any algo?

What coin are you talking about? The design of the pool is actually to not do that. Only a reasonable proportion of hashrate is put on coins.

If you can't beat'm, join'm

look at OZC, pool effectively halts the chain (tested), as it was with UFO on all yaamps.
not very positive.
i can beat it forking you out but needs some time and effort, lazy me  Cool

With the recent spurt of OZC, 54 blocks now, zpool only has 8 of them. Not sure you can blame zpool.  And even the span of the first block to the last block we found it's 8 of 21.
