Does anyone know if the password length limit has been increased on ccminer? All these new algos to add.....
Not that I know of AngryDwarf....but right now I'm using a conf file.

So what does a ccminer conf file look like, or are you using minercontrol or something?
Yes MC.

I have KBomba version of Minercontrol and his profit chart. StuffOfInterest made the original.
On the MC it shows the signals rate real time and nicehash throws out a lot of high payout signals for 1 minute to get auto miners to switch there...then the price drops to real time and miner is locked there for what ever settings you have except ..... MC  It calls them outliers and bypasses them. Wink The auto pools do it once in a while but at a realistic price.

yep, partially that's why i don't test anything multi-algo - it's a tricky shit.
but comparing algo profitability is relatively objective

Yup and in constant flux.

well my 24h+ testruns are over and i might say those 25-30% higher profitabilities
reported on zpool are non-existent, i get very similar btc from nicehash and zpool
the same algo (qubit, quark, x11).
so in the end block % is much closer to reality than shares %, not technically but for practical calcs.
unfortunately it seems impossible to construct a formula or even a good estimate
since zpool and NH use so different approaches

Based on a recent short multi-algo test on NH, I'd say zpool far outstrips NH, but maybe that can change with supply and demand of orders.
There are definitely some figures that don't seem to add up on zpool, whereas hashpower didn't seem to have the same problem. The latter pool though looks like it needs putting out of its misery at times.

it's important - i didn't run multi-algo, i ran one-algo per test on both,
just to see what really means if NH reports 0.15 and zpool 0.21,
but actually i get almost the same amount of btc.
i started that only because of those strange share % discrepancies

Talking about profits .... down they go. Grin I really should delete this info.

I haven't been able to read the thread for a week.
Question is.. is the pool sending out a false high pay rate on blake2s  and blakecoin algo's ?
Miner control is saying to mine them at a very high price.
Should I take them out of my conf file ?
Thx

why my coin reward percent is less than my share rate?my share rate is about 1.5%,but my reward percent is only 1%.......

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14819005

that doesn't explain, it's always lower

because larger amounts of hashrates can come in during the same period....  a spike in high hashrate is a typical explanation.

let's just say i saw different readings on yaamp and hashpower,
percent wasn't always lower than shares,
besides i tested that here on myr-gr when no spikes at all were observed (2-3 miners),
crackfoo ?

This pool pays out about 15-25% less than it should. I've been mining decred on it for a week and I haven't been paid out above what I should have been. Not once. Always under. The fact that crackfoo linked that post about fluctuating hashrate vs pool hashrate is laughable. I'm sorry, but the more I read on this thread the more I begin to doubt that this is a mistake made out of ignorance.

The miner's avg hashrate can be checked at any time via the graph readout on the wallet page. The pool hashrate can be checked  at any time via its graph. These can easily be compared and a consistent discrepancy can be found.

My shares contributed per block mined are always %15-25% lower than they should be. This doesn't happen at any other pool.

but the pool hashrate is not always increased,it's up and down during all time, let's say 24 hours.but in this 24hours, my rewards are  always less than my sharerate.any time i check,it's lower.

My AR-15 ID's itself as a toaster. Want breakfast?
Neoscrypt Blake2s and X17 i see them the most presently....  When machine #3 was on in sf, it would see reject rates regularly on X11;  it was a GTX650 just on the x11 port.  You can see the wild differences in my coin payouts on my wallet page: http://zpool.ca/?address=1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP  Hashrate says to me that something is goin awry.

Apparently the hashrates are good enough on my GTX980 that its been keeping me on X17 mostly, so im not hitting X15 and X13 as much as I used to before it was added.

presently testing the new algo for a block or two.  see how it fairs =)

FWIW: I pulled myr-gr and groestl from my batch file because my machine would get stuck on them and the profitability chart showed me they weren't earning like the others.

crackfoo, any idea why the reject rate is getting so high recently?  I have even defaulting to letting stratum decide my diff itself;  and it still hasn't helped.

Lots of times its 33-70%;  and I see it in my profitability on each coin generated.  My system is steady going, but the pool is giving rewards all over the place.

Which algo's do you see are most problematic?

If there is not enough to pay everyone their full balances, it will try paying 1/2. It just trys to keep paying out and rather than wait untill the pool has enough to pay in full, and risk creating tx that are too large, it will try 1/2.

oh, thx a lot
Jared guy was close to write a novel  Grin

Yeah, I tend to write as much as possible to avoid confusion.   and Im glad it was conveyed properly;   in my initial reply I thought I was mistaken on what you were saying but it looks like i was.........

Have adjustments been made to the decred pool? The pool has been down three or four time without any specifics from the developer in the past few days. I hope it becomes more stable.

haven't seen any issues with it since I upgraded to the latest wallets.....
