Well if you want to earn more profit much better to buy alt with high potential because trading altcoins will gave you bigger profit but you must be wise as well.Buy at a cheaper price and sell it when the price rise.

It's a good advise, but I ETH isn't so large amount for investment. Best to keep it focused on a few really good ones (that way if they do moon you'll make good profit). You can split it up. Keep a certain portion of your money in eth, and invest the rest in alts. Eth will probably rise, but at a smaller percentage than alts, but alts are risky obviously. So if your investment in alts fails, you will still have a portion of your eth.
I'll rather you buy many altcoins with your ethereum, 1 ETH might be too small to hold, where there many coins with a very low price and have a great potential, try to buy some and hold for some time to have a better price.
I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

you can try your luck on ico. because investing in ico is very profitable, but with a note you must be smart and experienced with ico, because there are so many frauds in ico.

Why everyone wants to buy 1 altcoin and hold on to it? do you realize this is a very high risk of being left with nothing? Do NOT take buy 10-15 pieces of types, sit and wait. Something still skyrocket. I do so all of the top 100 are almost all there.
