i Recommend you to invest on ICOs Because it is the best way to get Maximum for your investment. While Ethereum is the Second biggest crypto in the World and it will give you more profit in less time. The Short-Term profit is also quite Limited. buying alts can bring you much bigger short term Profit, And the Rest can be invested in other types of coins, But You Need to be careful in choosing Investments, I love this better wait, Because Ethereum will Recover faster than Others.

the strategies of the digital money world are not keeping up and things are getting worse. the deposits are constantly losing value. do not sell 1 eth in your hand and stand by. the prices will certainly rise.
pump and dump altcoin make many people think you can make a substantial amount of money from trading but when they get in they will realize it is not as easy as they taught. believe me, you must have seen some other coin that catches your attention just like XVG but the price is dumped now. you are just experiencing this because you see a huge pump in certain altcoin and not really interested in what make the coin went up like that

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

I think if you make the right decition on were to invest your funds, likely on 3 - 4 ICOs you will get the desired value of it.
Just hold your Etherium it will be x2 till the end of the year for sure, probably it can be more than x3, but I'm not sure. Etherium the most stable crypto now, more stable that btc.

I think you should hold onto it because the market is too complex to try anything at the moment. SO keep on the main coins and look for oportunities later on.
I will say invest that one ethereum into ICO then get high returns in a very short time,if you hold that ethereum it may take years to give the same profits,but investing on ICO is risky so if you want high return take that risk and make huge money in short time.
You can hold half of your 1Ether and use the other half and invest in altcoin. You need to do through due diligence on any altcoin you want to invst in to make sure that it will stand the test of time.
If you don't want to lose again as you became a victim of a scam, before then you should stop investing to such ICO's and just hold your ETH for now. But the good thing today is every alt is bleeding so it's a discounted sale for almost all the alts there including ETH and bitcoin.
Not of all ICOs are scam especially with ETH. All ICOs partnered with ETH are safe and definitely good. However those hackers out there exploited the crowd sale of the ICOs because they know that those ICOs was good and really a lot of people will participate on the crowd sale.

True, for people who have an extra budget, this will be a very lucrative phase because they can get a coin at a cheaper price. I also advise you to do a hold for the coins you already have today, try expanding your portofolios if you still have enough budget

I agree with you, these coins have a much bigger market cap and that means they are more stable, if the market is recovering, they may recover first, then you can sell them to buy other altcoins.

I would say, use the funds to invest it up to 5-10 coins and gold for the long term instead of investing only in ripples

Since you have 1 eth i think its better to hold it because it value is really worth it but you want more to have profit, buy a few of them when the market is dumping because the price of coin are decreasing so you can buy it a cheaper price. Also you do trading, trade it when the value increase more than you price you buy. That is a better strategy to grow your eth
