Will you contact Nitrogen and try to get them to offer the option of "Listed Pitchers" for MLB, like every other sportsbook on the planet?

It's just taking advantage of unsophisticated bettors the way they're doing it.

I've never even seen the option to bet MLB totals with "Action only" (i.e., regardless of pitcher). It is ALWAYS default "Listed Pitchers" only for totals.

But not at Nitro.

The book that is in most ways the top bitcoin sportsbook should be better than this.

gogo- I talked with Nitrogen about "listed" pitchers. A huge majority of their players want all wagers to be "action". Nitrogen is always open to change so it wouldn't surprise me if this was changed down the line. Believe me, I know that they take your opinion seriously.

In a Question and Answer session with BetVIP founder Daniel Schwartzkopff published by Bitcoin Warrior last year, the following exchange took place:

QUESTION:
Now, one of the big problems with any Bitcoin business where someone else holds the private keys is that there is nothing to stop the owners to just up and disappear with the proceeds. We just saw this with Evolution, the dark market. What guarantee do you have for the folks using your site that this won’t happen?

ANSWER:
In the past there may been an element of mistrust in bitcoin, with anonymity being one of the real barriers to players and consumers feeling safe.
BetVIP decided it was time to bring transparency and legitimacy to this industry, so we became the world’s first fully licensed bitcoin operator. This means that players know exactly who we are, where we are registered and they can put a face to the name of this company.
With our license comes responsibilities and legal repercussions for any illegal or fraudulent activity. We’re absolutely open with all of our customers so they can be guaranteed a safe gaming experience.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does that ease the worries of anybody waiting for their funds?
It doesn't ease mine I'm afraid.
Especially as Mr Schwartzkopff conducted a management buyout just hours before the site closed.

In stalling in such cases is usually a sign that no one will be seeing any money whatsoever.

I hope tonyq and their other 8 customers get their coins back, but I agree 100% with your comment.

The last I read they weren't letting anyone withdraw till the end of the month.
That sounds very sketchy and doubtful imo

On the plus side, BetVIP didn't take the money and run.

it sucks that they are gone though.

Why do you write that?
Have they paid anyone?

We can't say that until after June 30th...the date they say we will have all received our funds by.
Personally, I don't see why withdrawals can't be processed as they are received.
Why a two week delay?
