Let us calculate something, nowadays 10BTC costs around $4,000 to buy.

So the price should be x250 comparing with the actual price which is pretty impossible to think now.

The technology trend can make any surprise but in 15 years it's pretty hard or saying impossible to be millionaire with only 10BTC

Look at the Bitcoin network. Look at the clients. Then look at the source code. So many ways to manipulate the software with bugs that can be undetected from teh Bitcoin Network for intelligent bitcoin network programmers.

To save us wading through the source code in its entirety, could you link to the relevant bug reports?

No! I will not share my industry secrets in the failures of Bitcoin! As far as I know so far, it hasn't been documented... I may be wrong though!

I'm sorry, I thought when you said...

...that you were  talking about bugs that a developer would be able to locate, recognise as an issue, and potentially fix. If you're actually talking about industrial secrets I won't bother trawling through the source code on the word of an anonymous internet dude. Thanks, I guess, for saving me and others the time.

For anyone who supports Bitcoin and the open source development process it uses, you can log bugs on the issue tracker.

How many bitcoins are there exactly? How many people can own 10BTC?

There will only ever be 21 million bitcoin's.

At the moment there are around 14.9 million bitcoin's that have been mined & are in circulation.

You don't sound intelligent enough to be bashing the security of the bitcoin network which stores Billons of dollars in value just in the crypto currency that secures it alone. I doubt you've even gone through the source code, let alone interpreted it in any analytic capacity. If not bitcoin, block chains, are the future of asset transfer and ownership.

Truth? Slim chance? Based on what? How did you declare these as facts?

if with just 10BTC can make you become a millionaire , what about people who own 1000BTC? i think they'll be a quillionaire  Grin

Terrible mathematical skills!

No neither will probably be true, we have to face the truth that Bitcoin has a slim chance of surviving. So far... Bitcoin has survived beyond odds so it may live on!

When Bitcoin goes mainstream you have enough with 10 coins. Do you got the balls to hold for the comming 15 years?

No panic sell at $2.500 to buy a new car you saw that week in a magazine?

I think there is good chance that you can become rich by having 10 btc.
It will be worthless or worth millions, you know.

Maybe but for now 10 bitcoins isn't worth nearly enough to be a millionaire. Even if you do have 10 bitcoins, you could still work hard to stack that up. You never know what bitcoin could be worth in the future. The more you have, the better.

Yup very true, you need always to have a back up just incase have a fiat money.
I think bitcoin will increase in the future but you just can't be sure if that happens.

By 2030, a Dollar will be worthless, so you can't put valuations of BTC in that Denominations, the value of BTC in the future will be determined by usefulness and capability/resiliency of the blockchain. Watch.

The way that it's going at the moment, you won't be at this rate.

It looks like bitcoin has a hard time to stay at $400 it's really close though

I'm hoping we can stay at $400 until the end of the year. It's cutting really close.

I think you'll need double of that amount to become a millionaire

So you're of the opinion it's better to own 20 BTC at least?
This would require that 1 BTC at least must be worth $50.000.
Well... why not.20 BTC should be a possible amount to aim for.
Buy 1 more and you can count yourself to be part of one in(of) a million. Wink
