What's the difference between red fury and blue fury?

They couldn't red LEDs so they used blue and changed the name  Lips sealed

False. It's the colour of the PCBs. The LEDs stay red.

I know this isn't BitMinter related but since we're discussing the Red/Blue Fury miners here I figured I'd relay this information. Currently they only support Linux. That isn't a huge deal but for those of us who mine under Windows or on a Mac it means we might not be able to use them right away without setting up a virtual machine. Just a FYI.

It looks like the new super usb sticks are moving along.  based on the photos it looks like  you can alternate usb sticks so a 10 hub would be 5x .333 + 5x 2.5  that is pretty good .

they are big but a super size then an am then a super size may allow for 10 on a 10 port hub.

hashes at 2.5gh see below

Anyone else having problems connecting? My miners have been going to backup pool all morning.

I was having some problems earlier today.  I'm pretty sure that cloudflare was blocking me.

EDIT - turns out that verizon was having some routing problems earlier today, so it my problem wasn't caused by cludflare.

Pretty sure I'm going to get one of the Red/Blue Fury miners to see how it does. I'll just swap out a current USB miner at the end of the hub and hopefully this new one will fit in there. Should be an adventure!

I am  not going to sell them until I get them.

I did do a smaller  pre order listing  (4 of them) on ebay to get an idea of pricing.

I plan to sell some here at a better price then the ebay listing.

I think I am going to also order from this group buy.  Maybe 10 of them but they come about 20 days later.

I am a bit nervous since I have a lot of coin up in the air right now. (30-40 coins) which is just about all my profits.

oh my bfl orders are still waiting waiting waiting.

edit:
this is the direct seller looks like he will have them direct via a bulk sale  in oct.

Yes it does look like the matrix. so as long as i assign diff ports for each blade, the one proxy server (proxy miner) will serve all blades on my local net. Is that right? just wanting some info before i get in over my head again!

No.  They all use port 8332 through stratum proxy.

You set each blade to a different IP.

Yes you're right, That's what I meant

Can i run more than one blade on the same proxy miner?

I don't know  much about blades. but I would think it depends on your ethernet switches.

I would think a 5 port switch could be assigned 1 good ip address and switch quick enough between the blades, but frankly I do not know.
